There is a saying that happiness is free but many people choose to pay for it. Being happy is to be happy. There is nothing that can be used to replace happiness in one's life, having money without happiness makes life burdensome. Many appear accomplished in their field but happiness is still lacking due to one reason or the other.
Happiness plays a big role concerning physical health. There will be lower heart rate and blood pressure. Also stress will be conquered and immune system will be boosted. Happy people have a way round every problem, they tends to possess relaxed mind making them not act under unnecessary pressure.
Happy people get sick less often as compared to those that are not happy. Happy people have more friends. There are more benefits to being happy than not. You can choose happiness above other things, it worth it.
Many people believe that when they are successful then they will be happy but it turned out to be a mice chasing its tail. They keep on chasing success, after achieving one, it opens them up for another and the race continues till life walk pass them, leaving them with no real happiness but more empty success. There's always more success to be chased, more money to make, more fame, more power...it never ends. Happiness leads to success more than success leads to happiness.
Happy people have positive attitude to everything. The truth is bad things happen to everyone but each one responds differently. Happy people looks like they don't have any problem, like they have a perfect life but they just chose to react positively to their problems.
Always remember that happy people are more generous, they cope better with stress and trauma. They are more creative and are better able to see the bigger picture.

I have learnt over time to create my own happiness,when you look around you most times you find things that can practically make you depressed that the reason why I'm intentional about making my self happy no matter what and to share the happiness with others because we all need to be happy...thanks this wonderful piece @holayemine
