I must say that one of the things that will stop you from succeding is fear. Afraid to face your fears.
During the lock down, to so many people, the period was one of their worst expiriences they faced. Alot of people lost their jobs or businesses, but that was not the case for me. I had more jobs than i had ever had.
During the lock down, i moved into another phase in my business. During the lock down i was able to conquer my fears. My fears did not just leave because i decided to face it, i had a different approach to failure.
This was the first cake i did during the lock down. I was not happy with the result because i just could not come up with a smooth finish.
It was also my first time trying out the caramel topper. I was impressed at first but the sugar started melting before the customer could come for the cake.
And then i got the second job, i was impressed with the results. My first drip cake
And then again i took the next job the next one, it just kept geting better and better and i was really geting confident. I could really see that i was gradually improving.
By the time the lock down was over, i had steped up my game, no fear, of course i knew challages will come but i was ready to face them.
This was a cake i made for my pastor on his birthday.
Truth be told, u face pressure in every aspect of life. If you choose to drop out of school to do somthing else as someone might be thinking, there is pressure to face in that angle too. It is not all rosey.
Just within the lock down, i was able to get apprentices.
Francisca, one of my apprentices
My apprentices, vivian and lucy
Moral leasson, nothing good comes easy, u need to be deligent to get results. As for being discouraged, yes you will but your attitude to failure matters.
Hope you find this helpful

Your cakes are super beautiful. Indeed one has to face his/her fears to move forward. I learnt some vital lessons from your article. Thanks.
