WAKING UP/ INTRODUCTION

I woke up feeling excited about my introductory post the previous night, and dashed for my phone before I realized I didn't say my prayers. So I left the phone and went to say my morning prayers.
After my morning pryer, I went straight to my post! Already I had had some comments!: Older members have already given me a warm welcome. It felt soothing and warm... I wasn't quite sure where to go to respond or what to do next so I left it and went to attend to my morning chores.
I swept, did the dishes, warmed the left over food as we haven't had light for days now to the refrigerate it.
When I was done with the plates, I went to look after my little snail farm. Oh! Did I mention that I love nature? (Smiles). I love animals a whole lot, and my favourite channel is Nat Geo Wild. So I have this little farm I rear snails.

Those are for the big ones. In the day like this, they all go under the leaves! Of course, they are nocturnal!

While this snail house is for the newly hatched. It's night so they are out feeding.
I choose snail farming because it's easy to operate: they don't smell, they eat things available in your garden and don't die easily. These makes them so easy to rear. So I quickly removed the left over food from yesterday and placed fresh ones. Off, I went to prepare to meet with my mentor. I had my bath as well as my breakfast and left the house round 11 am.

MY MEETING WITH MY MENTOR

I met my mentor in the office working with her phone and talking to someone else on video, trying to get some things done. After a while, she paused to showed me some corrections to make on my previous post, and went ahead to show me some other new things and left me to try them out on my own while she went back to her work. I tried them and showed them to her, and they were okay.
I went back feeling quite fulfilled.

BACK HOME IN THE AFTERNOON

On getting home, I decided to check on my snail farm again, and I discovered my snails have laid new eggs!

I quickly prepared a new place and transferred the the new eggs to it and covered them nicely up with soil. In a month's time, I should have new baby snails crawling out of the soil.😀😀😀

I later settled to study what I'll be teaching my kids the following day. After that, I decided to rest for a while before proceeding to other activities of the day.

MY EVENING/CONCLUSION

I slept for like an hour or so and prepared and went for our church drama rehearsals. Rehearsals was fun and blessed as usual: a time in God's presence is always refreshing. We finished around 7:30pm, local time and I went straight home.
I fed my snails, then settled down to a plate of delicious Edikang Ikòng soup, while I tuned to CNN for some news update.
Lastly, I went to bed with my phone and decided to download this piece of writing as well as reply to my social media messages.

You are absolutely right. Snail faem is easy to operate. My mom once had a snail farm, we usually pick the weak one for soup every now and then. The only problem with it is a good spot else predators will attack the farm

Thanks for making me smile. I will do my best. As for teaching, it's not a problem.

As I read this I remembered my brother's attempt at snail farming, all the snails ran away.🤣🤣

I couldn't help but notice you say you went to your mentor for corrections and explanations..... truly we all stand on the shoulders of others who've gone before us in all spheres of life

Eyah! So sorry for that. I think the snailery wasn't properly built: it had openings. Yes, and my mentor is commited to making me learn quickly
