Hello steemians, how are we doing this wonderful evening. Well I'm okay, thanks. I'm happy this evening because of the loads of information i was able to acquire today from the big players. The meeting was scheduled to be by 12pm and believe me I enjoyed every bit of it, there were teachings, encouragement, jokes, refreshments and lots more. Let me gist you on how we went about it.

Meeting Report

The meeting was scheduled for 12pm as planned by our city coordinator, @ceendy20. I must commend the organization of the meeting, it was exquisite, she got some help though, @massiveharvest helped with the venue for the meeting. We actually used a space in his building which he uses for his personal logistics business, Blue Amazon. A good number of people turned up for the meeting. It was encouraging overall. The meeting started by 12.pm with an opening prayer, by @ngozi996, after which @massiveharvest took the stage for a brief intro as the host for the meeting. He told us about his adventure as a steemian and also talked a little about his business too as we were using his building.

A little description of Blue Amazon

From the words of @massiveharvest, who happens to be the CEO, this company is a logistics company which aims to relieve you of stress by delivery goods for you or to you at your comfort. Whatever it is you wish to transport, be it large stuff like chairs or small stuff like a pen. They also run a tutor program for entrepreneurs and those who wish to startup twice per month. I'm actually more interested in the startup training as I would like to startup a business soonest.

There was a general introduction by everyone where we just had to tell everyone one our usernames, when we joined and who introduced us to this wonderful system. It wasn't so hard to guess that our city coordinator @ceendy20 brought in the most people, her impact is massive and I appreciate the fact that she still remains humble and supportive, attributes of a good leader. Well my upline would be something like this, @talkoffaith introduced @ceendy20, who inturn brought @irene-hic, and she brought me@justice009. She also told us of her story of how she used to be broke and needy, but now well to do because of Steemit. Then she gave us the general insight of Steemit and stressed the importance of making quality posts in Steemit. After that, there was a questions section, where ia asked questions on the issues i find troubling, her answers were quite comprehensive.

Next came @ngozi996. She gave a lot of important updates concerning the steemit community,
For instance, I learnt through her speech how to go about getting verified on the steemalive community. You just have to follow some simple steps;

Follow steem alive
Follow your city coordinator
Follow the curation trail
Make a post applying the basic markdowns.
There, its now that simple, follow these steps and you'll get verified. I followed and got verified.
She also talked about LID, it's benefits and new important notice made by @focusnow.
The updates are as follows:
There are now three time segments of reporting LID, first is by 5-11.59am, second is by 12-4pm and the third is by 5-9pm.
*You also have to comment on the reports of two others.
She then stressed on the usefulness and the importance of using #tags and also how to site images. Lastly regulations of your posts, so as not to overwhelm everyone with your write-ups.

On came @jovita30 and @ruthjoe, the big players, in my opinion. They told us their story on Steemit, it was an inspiration really, yhe effort skill and time they put in deserves the rewards they get. They also dropped some useful words,

While all these talks were going on, @ceendy20 had already made arrangements for our refreshments with @irene-hic. It wasn't much but it went a long way to satisfy me.

In general, it was fun and we had a lot to learn and a lot of encouragement to go round. I'm grateful for this opportunity, it's a privilege.
