INTRODUCTION

In life, there are great men and women who have changed their world and help people around them in one way or the other. When we talk about a genius we are simply referring to someone who has an exceptional wisdom or intellectuality, who is creative, innovating and motivates others in a special way. Genius always has solution to most of the problems in the world. Today, I will like to talk about a popular man who used the power of writing, quotes and spoken words to heal many hearts and change narratives, his name is WILLIAMS SHAKESPEARE.

BACKGROUND OF WILLIAMS SHAKESPEARE

William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564, the date that is traditionally given for his birth. He was born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire into the family of John Shakespeare (father) and Mary Arden (mother ). He was the oldest surviving child of the family as his two elder sibling who are both girls died when they were still kids. Being the eldest child,he had younger sibling three boys and two girls although one of the younger sisters died as well at the age of seven leaving him with four siblings.

EDUCATION AND CAREER

Williams Shakespeare attended Stratford's grammar school, back then the school curriculum centered mainly on intense emphasis on Latin classes, memorization and writing and acting Latin plays.Shakespeare attended the school until he turned 15.

Record had it that after his wife gave birth to the twins,Shakespeare moved to London in search of greener pastures. Someone pursuing a theater career had no choice but to work in London so he had to leave his family behind.

The daily life of Shakespeare before he left for London and became a professional actor in the late 1580s are very impossible to trace. Suggestions that he might have worked as a schoolmaster or lawyer or glover with his father and brother, Gilbert, are all plausible. So too is the argument that Shakespeare studied intensely to become a master at his literary craft, and honed his acting skills while traveling and visiting playhouses outside of Stratford. But, it is from this period known as the "lost years", that we obtain one vital piece of information about Shakespeare: he married a pregnant orphan named Anne Hathaway.

MARRIAGE AND CHILDREN

Williams Shakespeare got married to Anne Hathaway in the year 1582 when and his marriage was blessed with three children, namely: Susanna and twins Hamnet and Judith. Anne grew up just outside Stratford in the village of Shottery. After marrying, she spent the rest of her life in Stratford.

CAREER ACHIEVEMENT

Although the history of his childhood and education isn't quite clear but record has it that in 1592, he began a successful career in London as an actor, writer, and part-owner of a playing company called the Lord Chamberlain's Men, later known as the King's Men.

Despite his tough childhood background,he succeeded in becoming the best English playwright, a poet, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's greatest dramatist. He is often called England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon" (or simply "the Bard").His extant works, including collaborations, consist of some 39 plays,154 sonnets, three long narrative poems, and a few other verses, some of uncertain authorship, such a great man.

William Shakespeare is the most influential writer in the history of English. He originated hundreds of words and phrases that English speakers use today. His impact on literature is so massive that one could make an argument that every one of his works deserves a spot on this list.

SOME OF HIS BOOKS

The books written by this great man are countless. Amongst them is our popular Romeo and Juliet,the story of the two lovers that had a tragic ending. Aside this popular book,below are list of some of his books;
Romeo and Juliet
The tempest
Macbeth
The tragedy of Hamlet prince of Denmark
Much Ado about nothing
Julius Caesar
Midsummer night's dream
The tragedy of Othello, the motor of Venice

These are few of his books amongst many others. He wrote over 37 plays, two volumes of poetry and over 150 sonnets. His quotes are uncountable.

Finally,he retired in life in the year 1610 and died on April 23, 1616, and was buried at the Holy Trinity Church in Stratford two days later, with a curse written on his tombstone to ward off those who would disturb his bones. He was 52 years old at the time of his death and was survived by his wife, Anna, and their two daughters.

WHY I CHOOSE WILLIAMS SHAKESPEARE

If there be a second life,I will still choose him as a role model because his life is worthy of emulation.

• He has a rough upbringing, his parents where poor to the extent that they couldn't afford to send him to a better school but still he held until his dreams and prevailed, there is a similarity with my life and I want to prevail just the way he did.

• He has a hustling spirit and has the gift of restlessness towards his purpose. He was multi tasked,a poet,a writer,an artist and lots more at the same time. People has the mindset that one can't be multitasked and achieve anything but the defy that believe,I love this quality in him.

• He has his ways with spoken words. What manner of man he was that everything around him was an inspiration which he puts down into writing and it turns to motivating to those as the verge of giving up,I also live this quality in him and I emulated it for my best use.

• He used spoken words and writing to change narratives,I am a born writer and I am passionate about writing and spoken words because they has the power to heal wounds.

• Despite his tough and busy life,he balanced his personal life, family and business. It takes someone who knows what planning is to be a career person and still has balance in his personal life, this a quality worthy of emulation.

• Finally,I have a dream that one day I will be famous like Williams Shakespeare, although it look a bit unrealistic but he is my role model and I wish to be like him some day.
