Greetings everyone in @steemalive community and welcome to my blog page,I still remain my humble self @ladyofpolicy. I believe we all are strong this morning.
Today I will like to share with you all the story behind my nickname ladyofpolicy. Behind everything we do in this life be it good or evil,there is always a story line behind it. Lately, I've been receiving too many questions in my DM even one on one from people who are so eager to know why someone like me as small as I am bears such a name and act as the name, lol it's funny though.
LADYOFPOLICY.
The name began when I was 6. In the children department in my church Christ Apostolic Church. It didn't start as ladyofpolicy but rather started as "Damselofpolicy".
Back then,my Sunday school teacher will always form.a small class for me and give me cane to be taking care of those small children. With the power my teacher gave to me I was controlling other children and from that point,I developed the mind of a leader.
Fast forward to primary school,I don't tolerate rubbish. It sounds funny that am too small in stature but you dare not bully me because I always have my way with words and articulated actions🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Small but mighty they call me back then. So during the reign of 2go social network,the name Damselofpolicy became popular as I had more friends that I always teach online ...hahahahahaha boss lady in making.
During my secondary school period,I developed the habit of chosing my friends by myself and before I can call you my friend I'll list my rules and regulations for you and if you accept,you become my friend.
On a fateful day when I was in JSS 3,a guy voileted my rule number 4," don't touch me unnecessary" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and I slapped him gosh inside the class and my teacher called us out in front of class and asked what the problem was and I narrated my rules to him and told him that the guy disobeyed my rules.
Very impressive my teacher said, good girl he added..... You're damselofpolicy but today I will call you ladyofpolicy because you're a boss lady , feeling a bit proud as everyone hailed me in class ladyofpolicy.
Later on, my teacher called me and told me not to slap guys anymore but instead tell them my dos and donts to avoid them hurting me in the future and I grabbed what he told me.
From that day, Ladyofpolicy took over my name. In school, church, social media, even to the extent that people now save my contact with ladyofpolicy and I get strength from this name.
Don't get it twisted, am not being proud but giving the fact that people like to bully smally like me and I hate intimidation, I had to do something so that I wouldn't be bullied in anyways so I dedicate myself to reading so many books that helped me build up my innermost self in other to defend myself.
