There are many remarkable days in my life. But as requested, I will let the world of steemians know of 2 remarkable days in my life.

Before I proceed, I must say thanks to @steemalive community for this mind-blowing contest. It's a reminder of good and tragedic events in ones life.

My worst day

Am the type that is in deep love with natural hair. I pampers my hair as if it's my husband. Even if am angry or provoked, once I looked at my hair, I will totally forget my agony and the next thing that will come my way is nothing but happiness and laughter.

If am traveling or wants to attend an occasion, I won't bother about the type of hair I will make or the type of weavon I will fix. infact, I made lots of savings then. But, unfortunately, 2017 changed my dream and turned everything upsidedown.

How I lost my hair

Back then, I have a long processed hair and can pack any style I desired. Back then, I do apply hair relaxer and the product I used is "Ozone relaxer". But, at a point, one can't find original ozone product anymore here in my city Aba. Everywhere was filled with adulterated. Inview of that, I was advised to switchover to another product known as Olive. It's a foreign product. But, my real customer I do purchase hair products deceived me. He disencouraged me from purchasing the product and introduced another product to me. He said, my dear, take this relaxer, it will give you what you need instead of olive relaxer.

we all know that olive relaxer is costly. The man have it in his shop but insisted I use the product he recommended. After buying, the next day, I applied it and within a twinkle of an eye, I lost all my front hair. The name of the relaxer is Shea butter relaxer. Worse yet, ever since then, the front hair finds it too difficult to regrow. My dear friends, that was how I lost my happiness, joy, pride and laughter within seconds. Lastly, we realized that the relaxer is raw. But, not only that I lost my hair, it burnt my skull. Too bad.

what did you get wrong/right on that day?

I went to market in hunt of a product but allowed myself to be deceived by a mere man who never for once in his life applied relaxer on his hair. How on earth do I believe that he will know the best! Till today, am crying bitterly. Because of the issue, I turned my hair into unprocessed and yet, the stunt growth is too bad just as the picture above indicates.

I have learn never to trust the voice of a stranger in my life. Yes, I have learn to scrutinize matters before believing.

My best day

Am the type that values gifts and once received, I cherishes it so much. when I came to know this platform in the year 2016, I ignored it. But, in the year 2020, I joined. I heard that I can make money through it once am consistent.

I posted and posted and kept posting. But, all am seeing is small small votes from booming. Surprisingly, if I look at other people's post, I do see $50,40, 30 and even more. So I asked to know why. I was told that there is a special visitor in this platform known as steemcurator01, once it visit my page, it will turn my smiling into laughter. Therefore, I should pray for his visit. But, that consistency is the game.

So, I kept on posting and engaging in other people's post. Not only that, I remained consistent with steem promotion and other steem related activities.

So one faithful day on October last year, i opened my notifications and saw a write up "steemcurator01 voted on your post". Honestly, I didn't care to see the exact amount. I quickly turned to my posts to see the miracle! look and behold! it's $52 votes. My dear friends, I jumped up and down and mother was amazed at my sudden happiness.

From my perspective, persistence and engagement led to my success. And ever since then, I became more serious with steemit.
