Its another happy and great day. But, you may wonder why I declared it a happy day when it has not come to an end. Well, from all my experiences today, I can declare it happy if not for any other thing, at least for the fact that am alive.

When I said that from all my experiences today, I can declare it happy. I know you would love to know how I spent my day today. If yes, please, read on to the end.

MORNING ACTIVITIES

Its now my normal routine to wake up by 5:30 or 5:45am daily. Today, I woke up by 5:30am. Then, I said a silent prayer to my God Jehovah. Later, I sang praises and examined the scriptures. Next, I came outside to attend to my neighbours that wants to fetch water. At the same time, I swept our environment. The truth is that they didn't give me a breathing space until 9:00am. Then I walked straight to the kitchen because I was very hungry. All my aim was to enjoy my food that morning because last night, I prepared porridge yam that was very sweet. I ate small because it was already 8:00pm and was tempted to eat more. But because I hate eating late at night, I endured.

So, on reaching there, look and behold, the food have sawa(spoiled). Honestly, frustration became my name that morning. I felt so devastated that morning to the point that I cried in Latin and Swahili language. As a big girl, I don't need to cry in Igbo language. For if I do, my neighbours will understand what happened. So I endured.

But, what will I do? There is no other food in the house. Then, I performed a magic. What's the magic all about? Would you love to know? If yes, please read on.

THE MAGIC

As I looked around inside my kitchen, I saw garbage, onion, 2 eggs, vegetable oil, pepper, and 2 fresh tomatoes. I then asked myself, is there any way I can turn this things together into food? Hmm, its not easy. But I must eat. And the funniest part is that none of the shops around my residence will open till noon since there is a burial ceremony here. Its part of their funeral rites.

With such in mind, I prepared something out of nothing. I sliced the onion and grounded it. Next, I sliced the garbage

After that, I cracked the eggs, poured them inside a plate and stirred until it foamed. I kept it aside. Then, I remembered that I have small groundnut inside my bag. I brought it out and added it inside the foamed egg. Now, to cut the whole story short, at the end, it became food as you can see below and on my first picture display.

After enjoying my sweet concoction food. My brother called and sent me on an errand to a far distant land. I came back very late around 7:45pm. On my way, I received a call from my friend. She is sick and according to her doctors' prescription, she bought some injections. So she wants me to inject her. Although I have nothing to eat this night, I extended an act of kindness to her by doing the needful.

Hmm. Surprisingly, after giving her injection, she walked straight to the kitchen and came out with one big plate. She handed it over to me and said, " I prepared jollof rice, this is your own". I thanked her deeply and came back home happily.

CONCLUSION AND LESSON LEARNED

Have you now come to understand why I pronounced today a happy one? God Is faithful. Had it been that I said no to her because am hungry and need to prepare food, I wouldn't have receive this surprising package. Thank God. Please dear reader, always make yourself available to help people. You don't know what the future holds. Lots of surprises ahead. Also, nothing is impossible for God.
