Gimme a minute or two
You have to hear this too

I ain't really a ratchet
Yesterday, I buried the hatchet

I forgive freely but I keep it in mind
If you don't hear me out, you'll say I'm not kind

But come on, I'm human like you
This might just be what you do

I'm not an angel, so I won't pretend
You ain't one either, my wounds you don't tend

But I'ma give you a minute or two
So, let's just hear you out too.
