Dear @steemalive and @steemitblog

It is my delight to present my report as a cordinator in steemalive community. This past week was really a busy one for me. I understand that as a cordinator, I have to promote steemit, recruit new users, mentor then as well as guide the users in steemalive to fulfill all requirements by the community. These I did in earnest this week. Please here are my activities for the week under consideration.

PROMOTION AND RECRUITMENT OF NEW USERS

I and @eliany traveled to the city of Eket, which is just a distance is 45 minutes from my city to hold a seminar for a group of 10 interested persons who were organized by @hunnyscuture.

It was a huge success as those we met listened attentively to the explainations we gave to all the questions they asked at the end of the seminar. At the end, 4 signed up at a spot and promised to complete their introduction post and send to us.

TRAINING AND ENGAGEMENT

Like I said in this post, I was able to complete the printing of the 6.11 by 7.6 size flex which was hunged at the training center to mark the readiness to train users.

On Friday, 30th July, 2021, I trained some users that came around for the training. It was a practical guide, helping them to sign in, learn to locate their wallet, how to make posts, the communities to join, and so many other things. They were all happy at the end.

• As part of the training, I encouraged @manuelhooks is training hold training on our telegram on markdown styles. He has been doing great job on that and we are grateful to have him.

MEETUP/ ENGAGEMENTS

It is a requirement that as a city cordinator for Uyo and other cities without cordinator, that I should hold weekly meetups with all the users in my city. This week, we did so on Saturday, 31st July, 2021. There, I encouraged all present both face to face and virtual to comply with steemalive community guidelines as respect being a Verified member and a verified lid reporter. I am glad that most of them are already complying with the requirements. See verified steemalive community members who are in the cities I am cordinating below.

MY PLAN FOR THIS COMING WEEK

• To continue with the training of the users both online and face to face. For the face to face, it is still on Fridays

• To hold meet up this weekend

• To search for new ones and recruit them

• To get a projector for the training center (long term project unless resources improve)

• To keep guiding users to comply with the steemalive guidelines and become verified members and lid reporters
