It is my honor to present my report for the week under consideration. It was a week of activities and I tried my best to do my duties of recruitment, retention and mentoring. Below are my activities as a city cordinator in the cities I am cordinating.

RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING/MENTORSHIP

RECRUITMENT

This week, both I and the members in my cites were able to recruit new users.

We are not doing bad at all. But my advice is that, in as much as we are recruiting, it will be wise that we give them the actual information about steemit. One key point is that it is not a get rich quick platform. Individuals who have that at the back of their minds try hard to succeed in their steemit journey. Steemit is where we all need to make our own contributions to ensure the sustainability of it. Let's try to bring in people that will add value to the platform.

We want to have more active users than inactive ones

TRAINING/MENTORSHIP

Training is a major aspect of my activities. When we bring in newbies, most of them don't know anything at all. It is best to train them to find their footings here. That is why, I was able to organize a training this week as usual.

We did more of practice session on how to write introduction post because we had a newbie present @prodent85, others were assisted to fulfill all requirements for verification in steemalive community so that they will receive the verified label.

VERIFICATION

The verification exercise is still ongoing in steemalive community. I try as much as possible to guide anyone who wishes to be a Verified member of this wonderful community.

• On this note, I want to encourage all verified members to always keep active in the community. We don't just make publications because we want to receive support. Yes, even though it is part of it but we also want to support the community to grow. We want to join in every development that the community is making. We love our community and want it to grow. Let's always make comments on other people's post. Let's always make publications each week.

• The community has decided to support only active ones. So we can fall in that category by taking active part in the community.

• We also want to format our publications to look inviting. @manuelhooks has done noble, giving us tutorials on this in our telegram group. He didn't just stop there but also made publications on the subject. Please visit the post links below

If you make out time to study these tutorials, we will not be lacking in any area so long as formatting our publications is concerned.

MEETUP

Our meet up this week didn't hold the normal way. The reason is because, one of us who is also a verified member of steemalive community, did her wedding on the same day we hold our meetup. And because she had invited us in one or our meetups, we decided to honor her by being present. I can say that we held our meet up there because those in Uyo city were present just that other cities didn't join us. The user in question who did her wedding is @dequeen. Below are our pictures.

We really had fun.

• I want to express my displeasure on the attitude of some of the users in my cities. Most of them don't see the need to join in our meetups even when I drop ID for zoom video conferencing, such that even if they can't meet face to face with us, they can join through that means. Most are less concerned.

• I want to encourage us all to see it as a way to be encouraged to remain active. One of the things I don't fail to include in the meetup is giving us time to share our challenges so that we can offer suggestions that can work. Please let's take advantage of that.

• I want to encourage all my fellow steemians that being exceptionally active from now on will place you in line to receiving more support from the community. We have limited resources and the community has just announced via this post of the new support system it has put in place. Please endeavor to follow along. We care about you and your welfare, you too should also have our interest at heart.

MY PLANS

• The verification exercise continues and so, I want to encourage you all to be a Verified member of steemalive community and remain active

• I will keep encouraging and training those who may need assistance from me

• Meetup and training continues this week.
