Dear @steemalive, it is my pleasure to make my report to f the activities I carried out as a city cordinator for Uyo and others. It was a busy day for me as I joined the steemalive community to take the lead in carrying out promotional activities in my city along with other volunteer promoters and as well organized and held a grand meetup/football game which resulted in Promotional of steem to those in attendance. Please read my report in detail as explained below

OUR ROAD SHOW

Here in my city of Uyo, we were able to join the moving train to promote steem.

We selected Friday as a Promotional day which we participate in road show using our steemalive t-shirts. This day was fully supported by most steemians here in Uyo. Though we were disturbed by the rain but wer were able to participate as soon as the rain subsided. Below is the post about my Promotional activities that I engaged in.

It was that same road show day that we had the opportunity to attend a seminar organized by the building student in the University of Uyo. We were invited and we were given the opportunity to promote steem. I mounted the pulpit and spoke to there satisfaction because they all paid attention and got the gist.

I directed them to join us during our weekend meetup which was going to be in the campus as well so that they can sign up. We didn't want to disrupt the conference because we were allowed to talk before every other thing in their agenda.

We could not also stay till the end because we were already exhausted from the road show we were doing before the time of the conference. And it was getting very late. They didn't start early as they had planned due some circumstances that was beyond their control.

WEEKEND MEETUP/FOOTBALL GAME AT UNIUYO ANNEX FIELD

I announced that we will be having our football games once in a month and that is usually the last weekend of every month. It happened to be this past weekend.

The idea was to help promote steem to all who will be on hand since it was going to be in a school environment.

The meet up/ football game was a success. A lot of steemians came out but we played the game with those who were not steemians.

We gave them the steemit jersey as before they started playing, I gathered them together and promoted steem to them. @benton3 also spoke to them to create more impact. It was really fun

We were able to sign up 4 newbies at the spot.
@nikkypetter came with 2 for the purpose of the meet up and they signed up, @prudence85 also came with one so that we can assist him to sign up and the other person came along with other students.

It is true that social aspect of steemit helps draw steemians together. I saw and confirmed it that day. The relationship formed as a result can never be overemphasized.

At the end of the game, I shared a little refreshment to all in attendance and they were very happy and even wished we could hold this meet up weekly.

PLANS FOR THE WEEK

• The road show for this coming Friday will still hold and I want to encourage all to please support the move to recruit, mentor and retain Newbies. Anyone can still carry out promotional activities outside the normal Friday roadshow and still make a post about it.

• I will keep encouraging steemians in my city to join steemalive and become a Verified member.
