OUR ROAD SHOW

The road show have been very helpful means of inviting users to steemit platform. It has helped a lot of people to be active especially steemalive members.

In my city, Uyo, every Friday is steemalive road show. We participated this week's road show with much zeal and passion.

This past Friday, we scheduled to to to UNIUYO TOWNSHIP CAMPUS mini field where we can meet a lot of students because they were having a tournament and that was the finals of the finals. Different faculties in the school had played and this is the finals.

Additionally, we had given out out t-shirts for the female team to use and that gave us an added advantage to e allowed to promote steem. On arrival, we had so many people.

The result of the road show was that 13 persons who came out for this show,

It was really awesome. I am glad that we were able to participate and the weather that day was favourable.

WEEKEND MEETUP

This last weekend happened to be the first weekend in the month of October. I had announced the meet up along with the road show attended. Because it was the first weekend, we planned to do it via virtual. Since the last one was grand as a result of the football game that was included.

This is me was not really supported and I understand why. We ha e been going out for road show and almost all in the city have been meeting up for this road show. And all through the week we didn't rest but were always going out for promotion on different community t-shirts, so I feel this Saturday,most of us used it to do some cleaning and to have some rest against the next week of promotional activities.

It is quiet understandable. We were so stressed. However, @benson6, @benton3, @madilyn02 @wizzyboy3 and @fortwis09 joined the meeting and we had a brief meeting that encouraged is all to keep up the good work of coming out for the road show and doing our best to report our activities after the show. These ones that joined the meeting were all verified members of steemalive community and as such, we formed a quorum and kicked started the meeting.

We stressed the importance of learning and understanding how to sign someone up. That was really why we had much success in our last road show. A lot of us knew how to sign up so it wasn't a burden just for one person to bear. It was more like a team work where someone else will be talking and signing up, someone else will be taking pictures and all the rest of them.

We were all happy during the meet up.

I am grateful to all these ones that came joined despite especially @benson6 who joined from a different location. It was awesome. We had time to interact with one another. That is the essence of the meetup.

I am therefore appealing to all who can make it to always join us in the meetup. It is a requirement for members of steemalive to have a meetup.

PLANS FOR THE WEEK

• The road show for this coming Friday will still hold and I want to encourage all to please support the move to recruit, mentor and retain Newbies. Anyone can still carry out promotional activities outside the normal Friday roadshow and still make a post about it.

• I will keep encouraging steemians in my city to join steemalive and become a Verified member.

Most people are willing to come out for the road show but they don't have the t-shirts. We have ran out of them. I am making plans to print more steemalive t-shirts so that those who wish to join the road show do so on steemalive t-shirts.

CONCLUSION
