Day 3; Cooking white rice and beans with Stew

Hello friends, it's another cooking day contest in steemalive community. How is the weather over there? And I hope that so far you've been able to learn one cooking method. Today is all about boiling white rice and beans and eating with stew,. Most time we eat jollof rice or rice with sauce or with pepper soup. I am eating mine with stew. Join me as you learn........

Steps on how to prepare this great meal
•firstly, measure out the quantity of rice and beans you wish to boil. Wash them and set aside. Add water to the pot and boil, add the washed rice and allow to boil for 10mins, seive the rice and pour the water back into the pot. Wash your rice the second time and set aside. Add your washed beans to the water seived out of the rice, allow to boil for 10mis. Seive the beans and wash thoroughly, after that, set aside.

•pour a clean water this time to the pot and set on fire. Allow it to boil, then add your beans first and cover. Allow the bean to get a bit soft before add the rice. Now if the beans is soft, you can add the rice and add salt to taste. Allow to boil until the water drys up. Then bring down and allow it open for a while.

Stew procedure
•Wash your tomatoes, blend it and keep. Wash your pepper and blend too. Cut onions and set aside. Blend crayfish (optional) and set aside. Keep all spice ready for use.

•Wash your meat thoroughly with salt. Put into a pot and add onions and peppers to boil. Add also some spice and salt to taste. Cover to boil for 5mins.

•By now your meat is done. Place a pot on the fire and allow to dry. Add your oil and allow to heat up, then add the sliced onions to the oil, add the tomatoes too and allow the tomatoes to dry up a little.

•Now you can add your spices and stir continuously to avoid burning. Add your boiled meat with the water too. Stir everything together and cover to boil. (You can add veggies if you wish to). Bring down and serve........
