Greetings my dear people of Steemit.Today is a new day being Sunday,22nd August 2020.This morning I woke up on time,prayed,did my morning chores and prepared breakfast.
We consider our daily bible text which was taken from the book of Exodus 33:11 which says
Jehovah spoke to Moses face to face just as one man would speak to another man.When he returned to the camp,Joshua the son of Nun,his minister and attendant would not depart from the tent.
When Moses was asked to lead the nation of Israel out of captivity,he lacked confidence and reportedly told Jehovah that he felt unqualified.God provided help to Moses so that he was able to lead the people out of slavery.Though the people of Israel repeatedly complained and murmured against God and Moses but Moses saw how Jehovah changed his mind when he wanted to destroy them.
Since today was still another day for our
regional convention at 9:00 am,we started our Watch Tower consideration.After the Watchtower summary that speaks about humility-how we can avoid pride and greed.
For example Uzziah in the bible was mentioned,he was a man approved by God,he was a successful man.Jehovah helped him to progress but at a time,his heart became great in himself that he refused to obey Jehovah's law that it was only the levite that was required to offer incense but he enter into the temple and offer license to Jehovah.Jehovah was not pleased with him.Uzziah was struck with leprosy till the end of his life.The lesson here is that we must avoid pride no matter our achievement and success.

After that we switched over to the convention proper.The topic of the last Sunday of the convention was Powerful by Faith.It started with the bible drama:Daniel:A Lifetime of Faith.

The drama showed how Daniel proved faithful even to the face of death.When they conspired against him and put him into the Lions den,Daniel had strong faith in Jehovah,and Jehovah rescued him by sending his angels to shut the mouth of the lion so that they will not harm Daniel.Afterwards those that conspired against him were throwned into the lion's den and the lions devoured them.
In the course of the convention,a few other presenters talk on different topics with bible references.The convention was closed with a song and prayer.After that we had our lunch with those that joined us at home.We were actually eight(8) in number and we took pictures too.

By evening,I shared some points learned from the Assembly with my family members including my elder sister who called me on phone to tell me how she enjoyed and benefitted from the convention.After that,we had our dinner of rice and stew.I took my bath,prayed and went to bed.I really thank God for such a successful day.
