The two historic and most memorable day in my Life by @pato84

Good day distinguished Steemians. I am elated to tell you all part of my stories which I titled *"the Two Historic Days in my Life". In this post I will be talking about the first historic and remarkable day then in my subsequent post I will finish up the second historic day.

Every dawning of the day comes with something unique and spectacular. As we all know,no two days are the same. Every new day that breaks is different the previous or the subsequent ones. Some days come with blessings and favourable events while others may come with adverse and somewhat regretable events.
These two days are very remarkable to me and they have left an indelible memories on my mind. As a matter of fact these two days will ever be commemorated by me as long as life endures on this planet

The First One

The first of the most remarkable days in my life is the 9th Day of December 2018. Do you mean know what happened on this day? It was the day I walked down the isle with my QueenAngel to tie the nuptial knot and exchange marital vows and of course say "l do,l do".

The journey to finding a life partner was not an easy going. It was rigorous, painstaking and even breathtaking yet perseverance, resilience and determination were key to succeeding in the journey. It was a journey I undertook all alone because my relationships were very far from me. And for the fact that it was an Inter-tribal marriage -my wife being from the Northern part of Nigeria,of the Kantana Tribe in Nasarawa State and myself comimg from the Eastern part,being of the Igbo tribe from Imo State and my parents and family members residing in Bonny Island of Rivers State,in the Southern part,,it was not easy for me at all. Starting from the introduction, to the traditional marriage called in their local dialet "wake"(local Beans) to her sendforth prayers to t was a tough and crooked journey .

When the wedding day finally arrived, the memories of all what l passed through in the course of getting my wife caused I mean forced tears to roll down my cheeks profusely. Tears of joy this time around seeing my wife adorned in a special way . Tears, hearing the pastor say,you can kiss your bride. Tears hearing the pastor say you can unveil your bride.Tears hearing the pastor pronounce us husband and wife and adding the clause "what God has joined together,let no man put asunder. Tears hearing him say you can take your bride home
Seeing the large number of friends,relations,colleagues,in-laws and well wishers who come from far and near to witness and grace the occasion was like a healing balm soothing my soul. Jubilation became the order of the day

Now I am happily reaping the dividend of those rigorous Adventures I doggedly undertook. God has handsomely rewarded my relentless effort with this precious kids. The family has increase from single to married to parenting.

To be candid, my wedding day was a glamorous and blissful day for me. As it closed my history page as a bachelor and opened a fresh History page as a Family man,a husband and a father too. It's a day I will never forget in my life. I hereby implore all who have not married to try and taste what it means to find your missing rib and also take up another person from an entirely different family background to live together.
