Plagiarism is the act of using someone's work or idea without giving due honor to the owner by citing the source of the copied work hence presenting it as your own work.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM
Direct plagiarism is the act of copying someone's work word for word without citing the source of the copied work.
Mosaic plagiarism is the act of merging different copied works to create the illusion of a new work but from a closer look one will see that it's a copied work.
Self plagiarism is the act of using ones work without properly citing your original work.
Global plagiarism is the act of using another persons work presenting it as your own idea without citing the source of the copied work.
