I and @bright-obias including other high profile members have been putting both hands and heads together to build up steemit to a high level in Portharcourt city over here. I recently invited @bright-obias to a discussion which was actually about conducting a contest for Portharcourt steemians and his reply about the matter was positive. So as for the Portharcourt steemians reading this post, you should be glad to have the first contest post for Portharcourt, which we all know comes with a prize. To be more precised the prize will be an attractive one organized by the steemit government in Portharcourt. If you may ask the question,When?, don't bother much, pals, it won't exceed this week. And will be a good topic to discuss about.

And today I discussed with some of the Portharcourt steemians close to me, that this week is operation Steem. We the officials of Portharcourt steemians are trying to get more attention of our members through a little giveaway (those in the WhatsApp group can testify about that).

Like I said before we're still in the vital task of bringing more people into steemit. Just that in Portharcourt here, the citizens thinks they need fast money and are ready to work less to achieve the money. Hence, making it hard to convince some people to join @steemit, which needs your time, patience and devotion. But by God's grace we're still trying our best.
