Good day everyone!.
I believe we're all doing great, and I do pray it stays that way by God's grace.
So, this is literally my first post under the Diary game, and hopefully, I will keep it going by God's grace.
Here's a short detail of how my day went.
I woke up around 6am by God's grace after staying up through a major part of the night in efforts to study.
Just a heads-up. I wouldn't wanna have to keep mentioning the fact that I do say prayers within myself every morning when I gain consciousness on the bed before having a general morning devotion. I feel that's kinda bragging about my devotion to God, and trying to seem holy. So, in subsequent posts I will be leaving that part out.
Few minutes after waking up, I tried to study what I had slated in my time table as it was already time for that. In the process however, I slept off again and woke up later by 9am.
Realizing I had overslept, I immediately got up from the bed, unfixed the mosquito net I had over the bed and tidied up the bed.
Then, I went on to sweep the room and took the dirts out to dispose off in the waste basket out on the veranda.
Everyone was already awake at the time and respectively engaged. I extended morning greetings to my dad, mum and elder sister, and welcomed the same from my younger siblings.
Next, I got back to the room, got on the bed and tried to pick up from where I left with my studies. Then I remembered I had to prepare a topic for my little brother which he had to present in a Bible study meeting next week Wednesday, so I abandoned my study and took that up.
I soon finished it as it was already typed in my phone, so I handed it to him and got back to the room.
This time around I didn't go back to studying. I went into my phone with my data turned on, and went through the unread messages I had on my social media platforms, both WhatsApp and Facebook, and tried to respond to all before turning attention to other business related topics on my phone.
After a while, my brother came in and notified me of our morning devotion which I went for and took my bath afterwards.
After dressing up, I went for breakfast which was Yam and Pepper soup. When I finished, I took to my phone and laptop and tried to update my business platforms including Steemit.
While I was still on my laptop, my elder sister came around and asked that I helped her get fuel to power the generator so she could plug in her laptop and do her work. I then tried to round up what I was doing and went out to get the fuel as requested.
When I got back home, I powered the generator, took the chance to also plug in my laptop and phone to charge, and I went off to the room and laid down to sleep.
The sleep wasn't coming so I tried studying some engaging materials and eventually the sleep came.
I woke up later by 3pm as soon as the generator was put off and went on to unplug my phone and laptop.
I went back to the room and was busy with my phone, before my sister after about an hour came and asked that I help put on the generator again. I did that and got back to what I was doing.
Few minutes later, power was suprisingly restored and the supply was switched from the generator. I said "suprisingly" because by the rationing schedule, we shouldn't be expecting power today. Although, I think they had to give it because we didn't get power yesterday when we ought to. So, it's kind of making up for lost time.
I immediately took advantage of the power to press the clothes I had sorted out to use for church service tomorrow by God's grace.
When I finished, I got back to the room and studied what I had slated for the evening, and after that, I went back to my phone until it was time to have dinner, and that's when I decided to write this post before going off to eat.
