Club75||Burnsteem25||Community Curators Application Post for the month of September

Preamble

Greetings to everyone. Steemit had remained a blogging platform that allows users to share original contents on daily basis. I learnt about the individual application for the month of september and so I decided to apply inorder to continue my work as a curator, having been working currently as team member of the lifestyle curation team.

A brief summary of your history on Steem

I joined Steemit back in July 2020 after a few period of persuasion and I decided to give it a try. I made my Introduction post on that particular day and did my achievement 2 post a few days later. I didn't stop there, I joined the diary game which was a 50 days writing challenge and from there I began to earn rewards and power up to grow my Steem power. When the cryptoacademy assignments began, i also keyed in, learnt a lot about crypto, earned rewards and powered up once more to increase my steem power.

Over he years I have participated in recruitment and mentorship exercises on Steemit. I was actively involved during the Steemalive road show events where a lot of awareness was created for steem and Steemit in Aba city, Abia state.

I have supported all the projects on steemit ranging from voting quality post, being active since July 2020, actively participating in club75 for months.

Interestingly plenty of people heard about Steemit through the roadshow activities that we engaged in and they also signed up as new users.

Details of any positions of responsibility you have held on Steem

My stay on Steemit has not be a waste of time at all. I have taken a lot of responsibilities on this platform since i joined and is also keen to take more. Here are some of the responsibilities.

•1.)Moderator in Steemalive:

I have always had an eye for quality contents. I mean posts that are free from plagiarism, exclusive to steemit, maintaining atleast club5050 and free from bidbots. Working as a moderator in steemalive community offers me the opportunity to check posts so as to know if they are qualified to be on the Steemit platform, I also mute or report posts that go against the Steemit rules.

•2.)Curator in Lifestyle Curation Team:

I have been an active community curator in the lifestyle curation team since July, 2022 till date. This position gave me the opportunity to support authors who publish quality post whether written in communities or personal blog.

I sort posts according to our team tag, then i check the club status, check for plagiarism, steemexclusive and use of bidbot, finally I consider the length of the post, it should be atleast 300 words. Once the posts satisfies this criteria, I will curate it.

•3.) Other positions:
I have served as a city coordinator and state representative in Abia city Nigeria. This had offered me the opportunity to train, mentor and recruit newbies of which a lot of them are active steemians till date.

Details of specialist or professional skills or expertise you have in ‘real life’.

In real life I studied Biochemistry which is science and health related course. And as a result of my discipline I know much about health, food, pets and sciences.

I have been into sports for a long time. I coach football, volleyball and a little of hockey. Sports commentary is one thing I have done too.

Steem promotion, mentorship and training is something that I have done over and over. Furthermore, I have been a teacher in a high school.

What country you live in and what languages you can read fluently

I am a Nigerian and have always lived in Nigeria. Our official language is English language and I can read any article written in English language fluently. I use a translator to read other languages like Urdu, Spanish, Indonesian, Russian with the highest possible ease.

Your key stats - own SP, CSI, Reputation, Delegations

•Steem Power: I have a steem power of 7773 SP and has delegate 500 SP each to Steemalive community and Steemkids Community so as to help the communities in supporting quality posts.

•CSI: I have a voting CSI of 31.2. I love to vote quality posts across all communities and personal blogs too. I believe supporting users through curation encourages them to write more.

•Reputation and Delegation: I currently have a reputation of 70.59 and I have two outgoing delegations to Steemalive and Steemkids Communities.

Any subjects you particularly enjoy curating

Well I love every subject provided it a quality article. However, I love curating health, food, sports,sciences, creative articles and promotional subjects.

The minimum team size you would be willing to serve in (1 - 7).

Presently under the lifestyle curation team I serve in a team of 7 members. I like it. But I can still serve in team with less or more number.

Together we can make steemit stronger, encourage and support authors and in turn encourage newbies to join the platform.
