STEEMALIVE CITY CORDINATOR'S REPORT FOR THE PERIOD 15TH AUGUST TO 21ST AUGUST,2021|| FOR ABA CITY

INTRODUCTION

Blessed day to you all.Trust everyone is fine.Steemalive has always been the only community that recruits,trains and supports her members as often as possible.The City Cordinators are saddled with the responsibility of helping newbies and old members alike as regards to making their stay on Steemit look worthwhile.

As the City Cordinator for Aba City,Nigeria.I wish to make a report for the just concluded week.Here are the high points.

Hosted a Contest

Inorder to promote and foster engagement in Steemalive community,I organized a contest for everyone.The Contest was born out the fact that there are so many things that newbies needed to learn such as how to power up,transfer steem,delegate steem etc..... Consequent upon that,I hosted a contest titled LETS LEARN FRON YOU.The contests and it has lived up to its billing as over four (4) entries has been received and more is coming.Here is the link to the contest for people that are yet to participate.

Responding to Our Members

I have always been at the Steemit training here in Aba city to attend to our members(old and new) who came to get guidance and clarification on certain issues about Steemit.
As usual,I responded to them and each person leaves with satisfaction.

Verification of SteemAlive Members

In our bid to ensure that every Steemalive member writes a well detailed,plagiarism-free and well formatted posts.Verification has been in top gear to ensure that members that comply with the rules are verified on daily basis.As at the time of writing this report,over 120 members and counting have been verified.I have continued to verify anyone that complies with the rules.

Recruitment and Retention

Recruitment is a key activity on Steemit because it will increase the user base.However, retention of our members is also important.If people joined and they are not retained,it makes little or no sense.Within the week @kingreechy joined Steemit here in Aba city,and he had made his Introduction post already.I have also guided him on how to make further posts like #thediarygame.I also registered @eberengozi and she has bought over 300 steem which she will use to boost her account and help support the community.

After meeting with @justiceanietie and others at the training centre

In the course of the week,I had a good time at the training centre with @justiceanietie @jaspichman125 @peterabagi @ninapenda and a female corper named Abundance-she will join us as a steemian shortly.We discussed a lot about the growth of SteemAlive community and how to recruit more users within our locality.

PLANS FOR NEXT WEEK

The need for making sure that our community members are posting on daily basis remains a task that must be done.To make it possible,I will organize another contest where participants will engage with each other and also win prizes.
Awareness through sharing of flyers,facebook awareness and other ways will continue in this new week.

Our regular meet-up will still continue both physically and virtually.I want to get to a situation where every building here in Aba city will have atleast a Steemalive members living in it.

Conclusion

I wish to thank all our members for their continuous effort in posting in Steemalive community and as regards to telling their friends about Steemit.A big thanks to @justiceanietie for helping out with recruitment.
