Steemalive Weekly Moderators Report for the Period 1st August to 7th August, 2022.

Introduction

Steemit doubles as a social media and a blogging platform. It is different from other platforms of its kind because it supports and encourages originality. All post made on Steemit must be original and so should NOT be copied from another source, it should also be exclusive to steemit, that means that the post should not be replicated in another platform.

As a moderator, it is my onus to make that posts/publications made in the community are free from plagiarism of any form, be it, copy and paste plagiarism, picture plagiarism, or self plagiarism( reposting ones old post as new one).

•Checking Plagiarism:
It may not be easy to just look at a post abd determine whether it was plagiarized or not, so we cant be doing guess work. To this end, I make use of the following tools 👉duplichecker or smallseotools. Of course, there are other tools but I use this two often. With such effort, plagiarised contents are easily spotted out.

This tools that I mentioned early also indicate whether a post has been written or has existed in another platform. In short, i check plagiarism and steemexclusive with this two tools.

•Checking Club Status:
It is important that every user on Steemit is expected to belong to either of club5050, club75 or club100. Belonging to one of the clubs helps users to power up half, three-fourth or all their liquid rewards for 30 days, 60 days and 90 days respectively. To check the club status of users, I make use of the tool 👉 club checker

•Checking Use of Bidbot:
We cant rule out the fact that some users on Steemit are into vote buying. They pay or delegate to certain accounts so that they can upvote their post, whether the post is quality or not. Such action, will ruin the intent of the Steemit founders and so moderators fish out users who are into such act of vote buying by checking the accounts that upvoted each users post to know if any of them is a bidbot.

So in conclusion,for each post I check for plagiarism, club status, steemexclusive and use of bidbot.

Conclusion

I appreciate everyone that has always published quality contents on Steemit especially in Steemalive community. It is good to see that the level of plagiarism is at its bearest minimum. I also noticed that a lot of users are in club5050 while the others are in club75 and club100. I am hoping that more people will move to club75 as club100 in the shortest possible time.

The task to ensure that posts in steemalive community will remain steemexclusive, free from plagiarism, free from use of bidbot and belonging to at least club5050 is a task that must be done. I look forward to seeing quality posts as usual for this new week.
