Special greetings to my friends and community members in Steemalive community.We are delighted to continue seeing and reading your original and quality contents on Steemit.Steemit has remained a great platform to share great contents and get rewarded for doing so.

As a moderator in steemalive community.I am delighted to make a report and review of my moderator activities in the community for the period 23rd to 29th May,2022..

The central point of the review of post made in the community is to check and report plagiarists.Plagiarism is a cankerworm and perhaps the graviest offence on Steemit.To achieve this,I visit the community page and read posts made by steemians.For each post,I will first check if it has any element of plagiarism both in words and in pictures.Other things that I look for in a post include but not limited to 👇

• The club status of our members is important to us.I take time check the club status of the authors.Atleast,each author is expected to be in club5050.It is pertinent for our community members to be in atleast #club5050 although attention had been shifted to #club75 and #club100 .

• I also make effort to whether a post is posted in steemit alone and not in any other blogging platform.This means to know whether the post is #steemexclusive(not written in other platforms) and whether an author is buying votes or delegating to bot services.All these points checked are written under the comment section of posts that I have verified.

• The Importance of mentorship cannot be over emphasized.I mentor and teach members through WhatsApp and other media.Currently I registered and is guiding @richy20 on how to make good posts on Steemit.This and others promotional activities are things I do.

To avoid plagiarism,it is important for authors especially newbies to write Original posts.Do not copy from the internet or copy another person's post.

Also try to use pictures that you snapped with your phone so as to avoid picture plagiarism.In the event of getting a picture from another source,always cite and reference the source although it's best you use your own pictures.

Use plagiarism checker apps to access your post before posting it.This would help to spot at element of plagiarism in the post and correcting it before posting.

Observations, Recommendations and Conclusion

In summary,our members are trying to stay away from plagiarism.This is a good mood momentum and I hope it would be sustainable.However,a few newbies are yet to know the need to avoid plagiarism and I am sure they are taking corrections by adhering to the advise of moderators.Also a few persons persons are in club100,while the greater number are in club5050.I recommend we sustain the habit of producing original contents and then upgrade to club75 and club100.
