The Diary Game Season 3||My Activities for the day at a glance

Introduction

The year is growing older, we are already in the 8th month of the year. I could remember when we entered the first day of 2022, it was as if it wont grow, but now, it has not only grown, it is getting older and we are almost closer to the ember months. How time flies!!

I am sure everyone of us is always happy to wake up to see a new day, it's indeed one of the greatest miracles of life. When we fall asleep, we are almost unconscious of what happens around us, but we end up coming back to the conscious state; such a miracle. I was happy to wake up to see another new day. Being alive is a privilege and so should not be taken for granted.

Early Hours

Electric power was restored very early in the morning today, so I seized the opportunity to charge all my gadgets while preparing a quick breakfast in the kitchen. Ordinarily, I like to have breakfast earlier to avoid stomach ache, my stomach aches at a slight provocation 😊.

I have a lot of things to accomplish today, which means that I will have my hands full. I planned to visit the bank to fix a little issue on my account. I have two accounts with a particular bank here in Nigeria, but for sometime now, I can't transfer from one of the accounts. I complained to them on twitter but they couldn't handle the situation.

At the Bank

Surely the only option I have is to visit the customer service department of the bank to solve the problem. I left as soon as I completed breakfast and freshened up. We were given numbers according to when we arrived, when it was my turn, I explained the issue to the lady at the customer service unit, she demanded some personal information like voter's card, passport photograph and also gave me a form to fill/complete.

An Unfortunate Moment

Unfortunately, she demanded for utility bill which I presented to her, she insisted that it must be atmost one month old, I pleaded with her because the one I came with was 3 months old. She said that it is against their policy. This situation means that i would have to go back home to get a recent one I have no other option, anyways.

I quickly boarded a tricycle, got home and picked the most recent utility bill. This time, I didn't stay in the queue, I just went straight and presented it to her, she then began the verification and upgrading process.

The whole process latest for about 30 minutes because network was so so bad, I left the banking hall afterwards and began to go home. I am supposed to do some curation work for the lifestyle team. And so, I need to start earlier so that I can select and support quality posts across all communities irrespective of country or gender of the authors.

Back Home

Now I am back, my neighbours travelled few days ago, it is a thing of joy to see that they are back in one piece. We exchange pleasantries and I went inside the room. Interestingly, the light is still on, guess what???. I decided to feeds my eyes with an Indian movie titled krrish.
