Diary game season 3: How day 2 cooking for teenager's camp went on 21/12/21. 10% beneficiary to steemalive. I am Club 100

Season greetings amazing steemians in steemalive community. The week before Christmas was tight but bless God it was fulfilling.

MORNING
It was a cold morning in the city of Jos that beautiful day. We woke up and had general devotion reading from the book of Isaiah 11 from verse 10 to 16 which talks about Jesus our banner. It was a prophecy from the prophet Isaiah talking about Jesus and how he was to reconcile and bring men together again.
I went back to my room to fix one or two things together and get the clothes I intend to wear out. Got the breakfast ready for my uncle after which I put my bathing water on fire then i cleaned the house while waiting for the water to get hot. I took my bath and dressed up heading to the venue we use for the teenager's camp cooking.
The menu for the day was tea with bread for breakfast, yam with fish sauce for lunch, fried rice, salad and chicken for dinner.
The breakfast was to be fixed on camp since there was no cooking except for the hot water which the camp instructors could handle. So we had the lunch and breakfast to deal with.
I got to the house late like around some minutes after 9am. The vendor had an order to deliver some packs of small chops that day to a customer. At the time I got there, the small chops was ready, so couldn't witness how it was prepared.

The yam was already pilled before I came by one of us helping out, I then got the tomatoes for sauce and began to slice and while another lady was slicing the spring onion for the sause and cabbage for the salad. The carrots and green beans was taken care by me the day before.

AFTERNOON

By this time the yam was already on fire and I had finished slicing the tomatoes while a lady began the sause, I started washing some dishes to reduce work. The fish was spiced and boiled then piecesed into the fried tomatoes which was already spiced.
The camp instructors came for the food around 1pm which we were through by then and have also packed the food in the cooler.

We then began the dinner, boiled the meat, friend and pepper saused it. The fried rice was in progress while the salad was ready. The way the salad was arrange kept giving me joy😂

Before the given time, we were already through with the cooking and began washing dishes. Those ladies were wonderful which made working with them so easy as everyone does what was assignment properly.

EVENING
After the dinner was taken around 6pm, we began cleaning up the kitchen, store and washing dishes which took some time because some of the ladies had to return home and only two of us were left with the vendor.
I served my own plate of fried rice, salad and chicken 😋 as I await my bathing water to get hot.

I had my bath and retired for the day to rest, meditate on the day and read.
One thing I noticed that keep me motivated was music. My phone was functioning all through with songs that helped me meditate, reflect, pray while busy. I had to sleep over at the house in order to wake up early for the next day's schedule.

It was really a busy day but a fulfilling one.
