Introduction

Its that time of the month when we encourage our members to invest in Steem through our Power up Contest called Power2Soar. This event is hosted by SteemAlive on the 15th of each month. But due to the training center which we are working on, we couldnt host it as at when due. However, we cant afford to miss the opportunity too. So we decided to shift it 3 days ahead. Welcome to this month's Power2Soar contest. You might wonder why we encourage our members to Powerup.

As a community, we are keen to see the individual growth of our members and we realize how much influence Steem power has on the steem blockchain. Since a high steempower guarantees a high curation reward and a healthier steem rate in the crypto market, we decided to launch Power2Soar.

Already SteemAlive has a thriving community trail. The last time we did this contest, we had 204 followers as seen below:

But now we have 355 followers and our trail is the 2nd most popular too as seen below:

So with Power2Soar and other projects like Save2Soar, we plan to increase the community voting value (currently $5.5 at 100%) significantly.

Power2Soar May 2021- The Prizes

We are going to rely on the generous donation of our community members and SteemAlive to fund the prizes. As usual, we will have 3 Categories of Prizes as follows:

(1). 8,000 Steem Power delegation for 3 Weeks

The 4 participants that powered up the most amount of Steem will win a total of 8,000 Sp shared as follows:

The top 4 participants that powered up the most Steem Will win a combined prize of 50 Steem shared as follows:

2. Cash Prize NGN 10,000

The third prize for the top 4 most powered up participants is a cash prize of 10,000 naira (currently equivalent of 25 Steem, at 400 naira per Steem). We will share it in the following manner:

Note: Participants that are not of Nigerian origin would have their cash prize converted to Steem and sent to them.

How to Win

Use your fiat (money) and buy Steem. Then on the day of the event 18/5/2021, you convert your Steem to Steem Power. You can also convert your bitcoin or any other crypptocurrency to Steem and then power up on contest day. The bigger steem you power up, the better your chances of winning these amazing prizes.

Power2Soar contest rules

1. Power2Soar is strictly for SteemAlive community members.
2. All the participants must follow SteemAlive curation trail.
   Participants must not be powering down a week before and a month after this contest. We will quickly remove our delegation if any participants defaults.
3. If you wish to participate, kindly make a post before 18/5/2021 indicating your willingness to do so. The post must be published in SteemAlive community with the first tag power2soar
4. After you powered up on 18/5/2021, you need to make a post with two clear screenshots of their wallet before and after the power up.

Who can Participate in this contest?

All SteemAlive members are free to participate. Whether they are new, or old members. Since our goal is to encourage everyone to power up, there are no restrictions, although participants must follow the few rules mentioned above.
