Goodafternoon friends and welcome to a brand new week. You probably know what Mondays are for, dont you? In our community, Mondays are for contests. So each Monday, we try to help you get creative and coming up with a contest you can work on within the week. We thank you for always participating in our contests. Its time to do another one for the week. This contest is called Looking back Its something you will love to join.

The Contest - Looking Back

We all have memories of special periods of our past. We all have gone through different periods of life and we will always remember them when we see a picture, hear the name of a place, or see someone from years past. Sometimes we look back with joy and excitement. At other times, its not so funny. This contest is all about reflecting on a special period of our past life. Such stories help us see how far we have come in life. So in this contest, we want to read your story of a special period in your past life

What you need to do

Write a detailed and original Story of a special period or experience in your past life. The story should be at least 400 words long. Check this sample below:

Looking back 6 years ago (November 2015 - October 2016): A short story of my NYSC program in Awgu Enugu State

Your Looking Back Story can maybe about the following periods, or any other special period in your life:

• Special service (NYSC, Boys Brigade, Red Cross, Apprentice, Police, or any other one)
• Academic (Life in boarding school, University or other tertiary institution)
• Tours to a Special natural site
• A Special Seasonal Program
• Job training Experience
• First year of having your first child, etc

These are samples of some special periods in people's lives. You can think of any other special periods you can write about.

Note: Any of your Special periods must be something that happened at least 2 years back. It must be something that took place over a period of time, at least 1 week.

How winners are selected

• Detail and quality of content: Be descriptive, including actual names of places, things and dates involved in your story
• Original Images: We will like to see original images of you in that story.
• Number of quality Comments: Make sure to comment on other participants entries. The more you do so, the high mark you get.

• Formatting: Justify alignment and centered headings make your work it. Please apply them.

The Contest Prize - 60 Steem

The total Steem Prize is 51 steem. Here is how we have arranged it:

• 1st Position: 13 Steem
• 2nd Position: 10 Steem
• 3rd Position: 7 Steem
• 4th Position: 5 Steem
• 5th - 14th: 2.5 Steem Each.

We will try to vote as many entries as we can with the curation trail.

This contest will end on Friday 3rd December 2021. Winners will be announced on Monday 6th December 2021.
