Introduction

It is a pleasure to announce to you, the winners our our contest for week 2, under Steemit Engagement challenge. Last week, we made invited users to participate in our contest entitled Introduce Your Family.

It was such an interesting contest that we had lots and lots of entries submitted. In fact, we recorded 113 entries in this contest. Our mods have worked for hours going through the entries. We have read amazing family stories and its time to announce winners of the top 3 positions.

How the winners were selected

It was really a tough call for this contest, seeing that we had 133 entries. Many of them wrote beautiful family stories, with great images. But then, we determined that the above users came out on top because of the following?

1. Quality and Quantity of engagement: This is the main objective of this contest - engagement. So it had a really big influence in the final result. So the top 3 winners were really outstanding in making more quality engagement than anyone else

2. Following other rules: The 3 users above made sure they followed the rules of the contest as well as the general rules, such as originality, being plagiarism free, and not using bots too.

3. Quality of Publication: The top 3 users demonstrated excellent writing skills. The way they developed their articles, formatted them and used original images made their work unique. Each of them received a rating of +8/10 in their respective publications.

The above and more made these users our top 3 winners out of the 113 entries we had. Congratulations to them once more.
