Introduction

We are delighted to announce the formation of a club within our community called SteemAlive Promoters Club (SPC). We have solid plans to change the face of Steem Marketing in Nigeria and would need boots on ground to do the work. Having kicked off Steem Road Show which is our first project under SIM, we will need an organized and dedicated group of volunteers that will help us achieve our aim of taking Steemit to every doorstep in Nigeria. Hence, the formation of SPC will help us achieve this mission in a strategic way and have a structure for supporting their efforts.

Duties of SPC Volunteers

1. Actively do campaigns for Steemit and Steem-based projects.
2. Support Community Promotion Events.
3. Free to Organize personal promotion activities in the name of the community
4. Make reports/posts in the community of their promotional activities.
5. Follow up on new recruits integration into the community by making sure they fulfil steps to become verified community members.
6. Produce materials for promotion activity (The Club will assist too)
7. Collect contact details of people that show interest and make sure they join the SteemAlive Reception Telegram group (More on that later).

How to Join the SPC

Membership of this club is voluntary. However, the first step to attaining membership and subsequently retaining it is to get involved actively with the community promotion projects. We just launched Steem Road Show within the week and a total of 14 members participated. These 14 persons automatically form the foundation and first members of the SPC.

We welcome other members to join us too. Since the Steem Road Show is our first organized promotional event, intending members of this club must participate and make at least 1 report of their Road Show activity before they are considered for membership. Below are the whole requirements that needs to be met:

1. Be an Verified member of SteemAlive Community.
2. Be an Active Member of the Community.
3. Participate in the Steem Road Show (Our Maiden Promotion event)

Intending members that have fulfilled make a post whose title is: My Application for SteemAlive Promotion Club Membership. After that, they will send the link to their City Coordinator who will verify and make sure all the requirements have been fulfilled. The Coordinator will then contact the community admin to process the application.

Once someone becomes SPC member, we will add SPCV to their label. SPCV stands for SteemAlive Promoter Club Volunteer.

Important Note

1. The community will remove any promoter that stops work over a reasonable period of time after holding talks with them.
2. While Promoters are equally free to do promotion work for other communities, we will remove those that use our materials or resources to work and report for other communities.

Supporting the SPCV's

We understand that Promoting Steem Steem requires considerable funding and expenses. So we will try to support members in at least 3 ways:

1. Recommending their reports to the Steemit team for support when we make summaries of our promotion activies.
2. Sending their reports to booming for Support (Assuming the community was considered for booming support).
3. Creating SPCV fund, a way to reserve some funds for promotional activity. We will ask for donations from memebers of Steemit platform, our community members, or anyone interested to support the SPC.
4. We will provide some funds from the community wallet.

Other Things about the SPC

We are going to run the SPC with a goal in mind. We are not just out to create awareness. We will make sure to have a solid follow-up system so that recruited newbies are mentored and supported to grow on the platform. Hence, we are going to form a new Telegram group called SteemAlive Reception. This is where newbies will be welcomed and join beginners classes that would be conducted by SPCV's.

In this way, we make sure that our promotional efforts have some direction.

Meet SPC Founding members

Our Steem Road Show which is the first organized promotional event had 14 volunteers from the cities of Aba and Uyo. These 15 persons are automatically our founding members. We will give them the label and hope they are willing to retain membership. The 15 persons are as follows:

Conclusion

Like we siad earlier, we are changing the face of Steem Promotion in Nigeria. We appreciate all the persons joined and will join this movement. We seriously believe that SPC will be a powerful instrument to effectively and efficient create the biggest awareness of the Steem Opportunity in Nigeria.
