Your job is to give us live updates of events happening around you. creativity is important as you look for news-worthy and educational stories to report. Once you capture something interesting, you report to us using the comment section of this post. Your first LID report is a selfie in the morning. Other reports will follow after that. Lets get started.
General tips for Quality LID Reporting
What can I report: You need to fins interesting activities happening around you and report to us. Whether you are in a bank. shopping mall, market, event center, school or any other place, you will surely see something to report. It could be about traffic, or about traders in the market. You can cover an accident scene or workers doing their daily jobs. Once you capture an interesting event, you can report to us here.
Image Quality: If you camera is poor, your images will likely be poor. So as a LID reporter, you need a great camera so that your images will be clear and bright.
Use Location Coordinates:What3words Can be used to insert the coordinates of your images. In this way, images in your LID report can be verified easily.
Reporting Periods: There are 3 major reporting periods. They are morning afternoon and evening. The time of each period is as follows:
Morning Report: 6am - 11.59am.
Afternoon Report: 12noon - 4.59 PM.
Evening Report: 5pm - 11.59 pm.
- Length of Reports: We do not welcome short reports at all. Each of your reports should be at least 1 paragraph long or a minimum of 70 words. You can check with this word counter.

It's another beautiful harmattan morning. I really had a sound night rest. The weather was good & cold.
As usual, I listened to news this morning; Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) cancel it's scheduled nationwide strike because federal government agreed not remove fuel subsidy untill 18 months. By that time 2023 election have taken place and the masses will face another kind of suffering. May God help us all & bring his Kingdom.
After the news, I watered my flowers which I have been nurturing for a while now.
My schedule for today: Today is my Bible study day, I will finalize my preparation which includes getting the videos ready. Studying the Bible with visual aids makes the lessons more memorable. The study is via zoom and anybody who is interested in learning the Bible can join.
I will also set up someone's device for zoom and train the person on how to operate it.

How is life this morning ooo? Mine is very cold with hamattan. I woke up early before 6am. It was cold outside but I managed to move out to do somethings. After the morning devotion, it became time for preparation for congregation meeting which will be held in the evening.
I'll go to work later, I'll do some runnings before 4pm. Right now some neighbors have gone for their businesses but you know the beauty of Steemit, it gives one the opportunity to move when you want and to come back at will. So am enjoying this prospect of time freedom. Only that the curators are becoming somehow tight, you understand. But I truly appreciate how far it's going. It'll always be better later.

I woke up this morning as early as 4:30am to have a quick devotion with my family we sang some choruses and after some worship song to invite God's presence and we thank God for his numerous blessings in our family , also asking him for his protection over our kids as they are going to school today . I packed their lunch bag with rice and stew , although I prepare only rice this morning and they were so happy and they were dropped by their father .

How are you all doing this morning? This place is very cold ... the harmattan breeze is 102%. I kit my children well even with caps as you can see my baby's own well placed. We are off to work. I woke up around 4am ..my usual time. .. washed my children's clothes, prepared breakfast. Prepared my children for school and everybody left. I came out to the road but it was difficult getting a bus to my destination just like yesterday....it was very bad that I had to take 3 drops instead of my usual 2.

AFTERNOON
Moving to Mvan as I left the house I got a bus to Ebolowa. Gosh!!! I felt so tired through the journey but the comfort of the bus made me feel better since I took a VIP bus. We left Yaounde at 8:30am and arrived at 11:05 about 3 hours journey. I immediately boarded a bike to the training location. It was a happy moment meeting my friend after a long time. She took me to the hotel to have a fresh up and then joined the others in the training.

As I told you in the morning, I am in school. Am a teacher in a secondary school though the school has creche, primary and secondary. I teach English and Literature to SS3 and SS2.
Today,my SS3 students were not all around. Yesterday, they wrote Pre-WAEC. Today, they went to register their NIN. Oh, I didn't tell you it's a boarding and day school students. I didn't teach SS3 only SS2 literature class.
Since I didn't have so much to do, I begged one of my colleagues to help me braid my baby's hair...
We are done for today so, it's school over.

Good day steemains, I arrived school today at 9:00am surprisingly I was the first since am noted for late coming. On way I was glancing through the net were i saw that on e of the field here in Cameroon has been suspended since the was a tampet were 8 people were killed and 30 wornded.And that was declared by CAF and here everybody is talking about it since that is the Paul Biya stadium and is one of the best stadium Soo far. I decided to take a stroll to the road side to get my spotlight report.
This is a T-Road Intersection which is has three arms like the letter T and one of the arm is normally a minor road which is connecting to a major road.
The major here is mostly used by travellers going to far destinations like Lagos from Minna, Niger State whose route is this.
It is also used by students also as it passes through their axis and connects to the minor road which is a road that leads straight to the University's gate.
Students are usually careful when using these road because of the rate at which drivers driving the traveling vehicles matches their accelerator and there are no bumps to slow them when they approach this intersection.

It was a seemly busy road as many people were in haste to get things done. So everyone was on swift motion. Firm the picture there are four directions as described

Two major things made me go out today, 1. Was to go to the road side and take my spotlight as done in the second report and 2. Was to do a quick survey on all the churches around the metropolis of this small town.
I walked as far as going to Talba road here in Gidan Kwano and was able to see a few churches around that axis. I then made my way through a short cut to see a few friends around. While at the gate of one, two men walked to me and gave me a questioniare and without hesitation I received it read through before filling it.
I then moved from there I started to head home, just before reaching I saw where few guys were playing football so I decided to stop by and have a 10mins. watch time before coming back home.

My day was good, filled with activities.
I did most of the things in my to do list for today, aside from laundry which I have shifted to tommorow.
Reason being that I was too tired to do all that couple with the fact that I had a Christian meeting to attend in the evening.

The meeting was fine as usual. I learnt about Ruth and Naomi. Ruth showed loyal love to Naomi her mother in law. We were encourage to love one another and also be of assistance to our brothers and sisters at all times, especially in times of distress.

Good evening dear friends. How was your day? Mine has been a very tiring and fulfilled one. The trainings today have been good and ended today at 4:00pm. It was a big relief as the big guys in my stomach were already fighting and needed attention. We decided to go look for something to eat and fortunately I met goat meat pepper soup and yam. I ate that while my friends are fish and had a bottle of juice too. We returned to the hotel by 7:20pm and retired to our rooms to get some rest for the day
On entering my room I noticed a football match was going on. Concerning football game I am taking some interest put of boredom just to be occupied. Today first match was Egypt and Ivory Coast with Egypt winning at the penalty shoots. Second is Mali and Equatorial Guinea with a zero COLLAGE.jpges at the moment. The newly wed delivering her georgeus dance steps telling daddy and mommy bye bye. It was a great sight to behold when Nkechi the newly wed was doing what she knows to do best on the dancefloor on Saturday. Everyone in that occasion was excited how she happily doing it going to her husband. Everybody likes such moment. We prayed for them, asking God to bless the Union in all ramifications. It was the joy of her parents who are our own family friends for many decades now.

Good evening dear friends. How's the day? Mine was excellent. The training today was so sweet and enriching that we almost forgot to have lunch but we finally did and I ate fufu corn and njama njama.
After lunch we assembled in the hall again at 3:00pm and had another session on moral education. While this was going on I had a call from my doctor reminding me of my appointment with him and insisted u should be there as he will be away for two weeks. So I have to return to Bamenda today. When the session ended and everyone was asked to go rest for the day after some group pictures. I returned to my hotel ro took my things and headed to the park and straight to Yaounde. At the moment I am in a bus that will take me to Bamenda. It's gonna be tiring night again for me so this will be my last LID report. Good night dear friends

Good morning to you all my fellow steemian friends. How did you all sleep? I had a sweet sleep and I am relieved from my tiredness yesterday. Waking up this morning at 6:00am I immediately took 25 minutes to talk with my creator and commit my day in his hands. As I got finished my friend came to my room and we chatted for about an hour before we took our bathe and moved to the train center. We were the first to reach there at 8:00am so we decided to keep busy by arranging the hall and keeping it in order. By 8:30am some trainers came and started with some briefings for the day.

At the moment we are seated in the hall having some chats while those who had not been interviewed are getting interviewed. Today is day 2 of the training and it will be project planning and management and moral education. Wishing you all a beautiful day

Good morning dear fellows, today is already going smooth and lovely as the sun is out
I am up and grateful to God welcome to my first LID for 27th January. Now what happening is a revival. I woke up and went for devotion at 5am after which I went for my personal prayers for about 20 minutes more.
Then I went back to my room while I was trying to read the update on LID a sister nocked my door and asked to see me briefly and I gave her a listening she wanted so privacy so we left my room where there was my room mates and went to the corridor where we sat.
And she said I should please teach her the word of God and give her bible verse for her prayer points.

Good morning fellow steemains I had a great night and I woke up today at 3:00am since I had somethings to do. By 5:00am I moped the floor and by 5:25am I moved into the bath. When I was done I quickly dressed up an move to the road were i had a buck to drop at simbock junction. I then got a taxi to School and I got here at 6:43am. On my I noticed that they were already many people selling and less traffic I noticed that only lazy people really sleep much because the wise get up very early and make hay before the sun shines. I was the first to arrive and since I don't y the key am quitely waiting outside for the others to come.

Good morning all in this harmattan cool-filled morning. It's my pleasure to report again today.
Thank God is Thursday. I woke up by 5: 23am today. Muttering few words of prayers and being appreciative to God for life as the over all valuable thing on earth.
I sat down holding my pillow tight recognizing my bachalorship state of life. I had to sit to put up my plans and moves for the day.
I will be moving out this morning to take treatment, go to the bank for transaction clarification, go for steemit promotion, wash my clothes as well as visiting some friends.

Good morning everyone, how are you all doing? I believe everyone is enjoying the Harmattan. How was your night? My night was cold and pleasant except few times I woke up to do my night duty.
I will have a lot to do today. After this report, I will do my morning chores. I will prepare my girl for school and also take care of the house. I woke up around 3:24am and was thinking it's dawn but when I checked my time, I realized I still have some hours of sleep and finally I'm just waking up.

I am back again with my report. This evening was just cool... thanks to uguru for keeping our weather cool and bearable.
I returned from work and had to put the house in order. Before I know it, it's night. I had to go buy things for breakfast while my daughter prepare for dinner
This people that we call NEPA eehh ..! I don't know if wahala na their hobby. I planned to cook rice and beans for breakfast. There was light since afternoon... immediately I entered the kitchen to make the stew, that way, cooking will be fast in the morning,this people took light. See me see trouble o...I had to prepare for the stew....I can't kill myself at all .....
Me, am done for today. It's late, time for sleeping.
I didn't tell you I went to wash my hair. Yes, I had to water it small. Please do have a great night ok. Stay safe because you are loved ..

The sun is obviously what gives us light always during the day and night. The moon at night does not produce light in itself but radiates the light that comes from the sun. The sun makes life possible here on Earth and it radiates also heat.
We locally use it for several purposes like sun-drying wet materials and obvious light to see here on Earth. It helps also in plantation and most importantly for Electricity power
