The term negotiation is very crucial because , deepening understanding of it . Only can warrant you so much in life. At such extremes you would get to know that negotiation meant so much .

In essence it should be very thoughtful to begins with what negotiation is about .Negotiation : can be relate as to any kind of an organized and scheduled meeting , which do takes place with person to person's , an interest group , organization , inter-state or nation's. Basically to discuss sensitive issues which required to have an actual decisive conclusion and agreement. That , further base on favourable terms for those party or parties concern respective needs and demands upon such discussion meeting.

Negotiation is not what a particular person can just get woke up one day and assume. There are so much involved to become a very good negotiator . With such entails in mind that in every course you just need to paid certain price.

Price required to paid so as to become an excellent negotiator. Are mainly encircled on soft skills.

On this formed you do need to developing yourself , while in mind that foremostly communication is an essential soft skill in the acts of negotiation. Facts are as an intended active negotiator , you required to have been developing yourself to further get developed the following soft skills :

  • Communication very essential

  • Raporting ability

  • An expectation management

  • An active listening

  • An emotion management

  • Personal safety

  • Report building

  • Fast decision making.

  • Planning

Personally did frame out those soft skills and an overview here , because business of negotiation is like no other. Those are soft skills you need to developed and mastered, before getting engage in negotiations with any party or an interest group.

To get reach a compromise state in your negotiation discussion meeting , with any party . You do need to be firm , knowing your purpose basically if you do out for personal interest . But , if you represent a certain interest group or party . Here you do need to get understand their expectations , as per their desires and needs. Then get to manage their expectations in mind, and ensure that no compromised state is reached . Without getting meetup initial expectation as managed .

Here are basically those things and places which you can apply negotiation , seen as follows :

  • Family

  • Workplace

  • Market

  • Interest group and organization

Here let me get on briefly to relates upon each as I outline them as seen above.

Contract : This the most popular aspects in which people did know to negotiate. Base on the nature of the given contract and such terms involve . A contract can weigh both side or one sided , meaning it can get be for the client exclusive favor or the contractor. That would best on who best negotiator is a client's or contractor's? Though no question here .

Family : Here in family most even all do negotiate in one form and that of others without , actually getting it right as a negotiation. With good negotiation skills , you can always get your desires with no hassles .
As a father , mother , children even as a visitor to given family on interest based on personal needs .

Here you can get to apply an intent negotiation over your pressing issues and personal needs and likely demands.

Workplace : Here most people in their respective working environment and particular field of endeavour are all getting it wrong . Instead of a planned negotiation they would hast on to strike , at times with little or no prior negotiation .

Not comfortable about your line of work basically in large company , due to work load . At most if production line in factories or manufacturing companies . Engage in a planned negotiation, before mobilize for strike bargaining.

As per salary things at any working environment level , same sense of applications.

Market : At market place some of the goods sales usually negotiable . So when seen such do capitalize and bid prices for your good to enhance savings for another stuffs.

Interest group and organization : Here are the most stressful aspect in negotiations . Would require so much from the represent negotiator , because here . At times an interest group might be a well organized violence group of terrorist and terrorism . So while getting meet up for negotiation , you have to be fully aware here .

At times it might be based on an environmental purpose like that of Niger Delta Avengers , Boko haram and IPOB . Those are very strong interest group among others in the world. which you can't just walk up to have an inform negotiation with them , without personally prepared and planned ahead .
