Learn to make use of every opportunity along your way. If it’s for good, embrace it and uphold it for life. And if it’s that which is evil, though being cautious take and use it as a stepping stone for any possible change in your life. There are always standby people waiting to hold on to what u want to let go. So, beware of this saying: “a bird in hand worth two in the bush”.
Giving thanks to God Almighty is something I take seriously at the beginning of each day. It has been a rough week for me with poor health and like others Thursday I was still in great pains. Waking up was difficult but I did around 8:30am and said my prayers. Then I went outside to take some air and sit in the sun as I was feeling very cold. My nephews were outside having so much fun of football game along with my brother Lesley. Watching them play made me feel relieved and smile too.

After a while I freshened up and had my breakfast. I normally don't eat pap and gateaux but I did today and it tasted good.

It was a day to be home and so I just laid down watching the children play and sort of accompany my junior ones cook and making sure the do the right things too.
Lunch
After lunch grandma took to telling stories with her great grand children and I too benefited from her stories especially how they lived in the past. It was fun especially the tapping of palm wine and hunting activities. Now most villages don't do much of these activities. Later my junior ones and brother's wife decided to play a game of lodo with grandma. She accepted and was happy playing it though with just one active hand. Grandma has been with stroke for 4 months now and we do our best to make her feel okay and engaging her with such activities helps to facilitate her healing process and hopefully she will be better in the months ahead. While they played my nephews entertained me with ryhmes as I laid on the bench outside.

Feeling tired around 6:20pm I retired to my room and feel asleep. I only woke up around 11:23pm and noticed everywhere was quiet as everyone was asleep so I continued my sleep. And so my day ended, it was a sticky one for me but I enjoyed it
