Introduction
Food is referred to as anything we eat, either solid or liquid that gives us energy and help to maintain our body.
Humans cannot survive without food because we need food to grow stronger and healthy.
Below is the three square meal I consumed today
Breakfast
We all know that akara is made from beans and as such it is a high in proteins and protein plays an important role in repairing the body.
Beans contains folate which helps to provide nutrients to enable the body stay healthy.
Beans also help in the reduction of heart attack and cancer because they are rich in fiber and they have antioxidants which helps to reduce those life threatening sicknesses.
Custard on the other hand, is a good source of calcium and vitamins which to eliminate bone loss. Custard is also a good source of protein and it helps to gain weight in a healthy way.
I usually take this food on days when I don’t have much things to do because it’s makes me sleep and aside the nutritional values, that’s one reason I love the food.
I ate this food at about 9:30am. This food cost #500 (3.7 Steem) to prepare.
Preparation Of Akara and Custard
- Like I stated earlier, Akara is made from beans. So while preparing Akara, the first thing you need to do is to soak the beans, possibly overnight.
- Allow the beans to soak water, then peel it and wash it severally until the beans peel removes entirely.
- Add onion,fresh pepper and cray fish, then blend.
- After blending, add salt Maggi cubes and other necessary ingredients to make it tasty.
- Then lastly, put your groundnut oil on fire and scoop the already blended beans into it. Then allow it to become brown.
Your Akara is ready.
For Custard
It is very easy to prepare, just put your hot water on fire. Then mix your custard in a plate with cold water.
When the water must have boiled, pour it into the custard and turn with a spoon.
You can add milk or sugar to the custard.
Lunch
Indomie is a good source of vitamins and minerals and it contains carbohydrates which helps to provide and build energy. They also contain protein which helps to repair and build body tissues.
Then the egg helps in the process of metabolism and helps in the stabilization of blood sugar. It is advisable that one consume at least one egg per day.
I love how easy it is to prepare Indomie and egg and it is less expensive.
To prepare Indomie and egg you need at least #500 (3.7 Steem).
I ate this food around 2:00pm this afternoon.
Dinner
Egwusi is rich in nutrients like proteins, carbohydrates and important amino nutrients.
It also helps to reduce low density lipoprotein.
Then garri has high fiber which helps in digestive health and improve the immune system. It is also rich in carbohydrates.
I love how much my stomach gets filled up whenever I eat garri and Egwusi soup.
I ate this food around 6pm and to prepare this food, you need about #2000 (22 Steem)
Conclusion
Amongst all the foods I ate today, the one I enjoyed mostly was my breakfast because I love how yummy it was and I added enough milk to make it very sweet.
Always make sure to try out healthy foods.

Food is very important for energy and body building.The three square meal you had for the day were all so great and yummy.
Custard served with Akara tastes good especially on Saturdays.I like the way you decorated the custard with liquid milk.
Indomie with fried egg is very balanced as it contains carbohydrate,vitamin, mineral and protein.The dinner is great too.Garri and soup is a staple food in Nigeria and I enjoy eating garri atleast once in every two days.Goodluck in the contest.
