Good day my fellow people of steemalive and dear promoters. I am glad to write down my report of Uyocity roadshow carried out in the 1st October, 2021.

Before going to the Roadshow, I had to prepare myself and family well. Since it was an independent day in Nigeria, there was no school and as such my kids will not be in school. It was challenging to me how I will take part in the Roadshow with them.

Thanks to my husband, he accepted to go to the office with one of them while I go to roadshow with the baby.

That arrangement made it possible for me, to be able to participate in the Roadshow.

When I was through with my house chores, I dressed up with steemalive branded t-shirt and also dressed my baby too. I left the house to Meetup with other promoters at Uyo steemit office.
When I arrived I met @benton3, @ngoenyi, @eliany, and @benson6, they were already there waiting for others and I join them in waiting for others promoters.

To make the waiting not boring, @ngoenyi took pictures of us and the baby and at the same time we were communicating with promoters from other cities through the WhatsApp group created by @focusnow for promoters.

Not long after all the promoters arrived and we took a group picture at the office and move to the proposed location.

We boarded a bus to the location and in the bus, @ngoenyi as a leader she is set good example by Promoting steemit to a passenger who sat close to her. The lady welcome the idea and was so happy to hear of steemit. She promised to sign up as soon as possible. @ngoenyi took her phone number and gave her the flyer. That was a nice from her.

Soon, we arrived at the location, while walking down to the mini stadium, we started Promoting steemit to the people selling around the school premises and in the school before arriving at the stadium.

My personal effort

I promoted steemit to as many people as possible, even with the bad network that made some who showed interest in signing up not to do so successful, we were able to sign up 15 new users and some did thier achievement post one at the spot. I took some of thier contact and I will try signing them up as soon as possible from my house.

While still Promoting steemit with other promoters, I received a call from my husband that the kids are hungry, I took permission from our team leader and went to attend to them.

When I arrived at his office I met some people there who warmly welcome my arrival. When I was done feeding my kids and the baby, I promoted steemit to them and some of them showed interest while I successfully signed up one person and guide him in doing his achievement post one. He was so happy to hear about steemit. And promise to remain active in the platform.

At this point, I was so tired and the kids too needed to get home so as to have proper rest at the comfort of the home. I left with the kids to my house. I arrived at the house about 5:45pm.

Thanks to @steemitblog for encouraging steem promotion. I have seen this as one of the effective ways of helping many people come to join steemit.

Thank to @focusnow for the initiative of roadshow. It is one the ways to talk to large crowd of people and to reach as many people as possible.

Thanks to @ngoenyi for being a good team leader always working tirelessly in Promoting steemit and thanks too to my fellow promoters. I love you all.
