From being a proficient mother and a homemaker to runing a business or being a worker. Our purpose is still the same all over the world. We sure has proven that we can do all things.

The International Women's Day (IWD) is observed to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and Political achievement of Women either in our local community or the global world. Women has risen to the pinnacle of success that nothing seems to be an obstacle that cannot be crossed with the recent emergence of one of ours Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, as the First woman and First African to be the Director General of the World Trade Organization(WTO), or following the recent US elections that brought about the first Female Vice President of USA Kamala Harris or Jacinda Ardern who was elected Prime Minister of New Zealand in 2017 in a position that seemed unattainable.

IWD Theme: Choose to Challenge. It resonates from how much far women go to to achieving an feat amongst themselves.

A challenged world is an alert world and from challenge comes change.
So let's all choose to challenge.
How will you help forge a gender equal world?
Celebrate women's achievement. Raise awareness against bias. Take action for equality.1
