Can holybread be the next Splinterlands?

Hi Steemitt Friends,

As a reader of mine, you may have noticed I am a huge fan of the Splinterland game. In fact, I came back to Steem to play this game. The team has worked hard to get the game to where it is and the best part is you can grow with the game. A new game I recently came across was Holybread. After playing for a few days and also leave the game to run itself for a few days, I am not sure if this will be something to compare with Splinterlands.

When I logged in today, a popup showed that the token has now been changed to HBC. Pretty confusing for those already have buy and sell orders on steem-engine. I guess these things may happen as I also believed that Epic dice had that issue when they first started. What depresses me is that breadcrumb I am earning has dropped drastically when I returned. Probably I had high expectations which are fine so I checked the price of the HBC token to see how much my crumbs are worth. 0.41 Steem is all my 63k+ breadcrumbs is worth. Not motivating. It is the first few weeks of the game, I will continue to monitor to see how things pan out.

I wouldnt judge a game, especially in the early days based upon the price of the token. To start, most new tokens see a drop in price as the ones who got involved dump them. Holybread has the issue that there is no use for breadcrumbs at the moment so people can either hold or sell. They need to add in a way to keep that token circulating throughout the game and the majority off the open market.

Agree there is no use of breadcrumbs so people have the fear of missing out if they don't sell quickly. I would continue to monitor as I have read that we can use breadcrumbs in game. And I wonder what they do with the tokens they buy back as I haven't been able to find any info on that. Will need to dig further.
