No nation can develop without accepting the status of women, but in our society, only household affairs and the education of children are entrusted to women. In such a case, how can their importance be denied? Men and women are indeed two wheels of a car.
Think for yourself if any wheel of the car is defective, how will the car run? If the women of a nation wake up and brace themselves for the freedom of their nation and country, no one can enslave that nation and country. On the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, there is also a spectacular spectacle.
One group that wants rights is busy all day provoking others and the other group is also angry all day and shooting arrows of humor. In this noise, many important topics get buried until next year.
Well, there are many eras in which we can invest for the betterment of women, but so far from what I have seen around me, I think the most important topic is "Women's Right to Inheritance".
According to a survey, 80% of women in Pakistan are still not given the right to inherit, this rate is highest in Balochistan province where the rate is up to 99%. Where if there are sons in the family, the daughter's right to inherit is not recognized. It is done and faces the punishments of Jirga for raising voice.
In the law of Pakistan, denying a woman the right to inherit is a crime, which is punishable by seven to ten years in prison, but it is considered that these laws and punishments of the country do not exist because most of the women are threatened in such cases.
Ninety percent of the cases do not come forward and those that do are kept quiet. This is one of the reasons why women are so easily disinherited , a man knows more about courts, courts, lawyers and property dealers than a woman , as well as where the ancestral lands were and what was accounted for.
That knowledge is also an imaginary thing for a housewife to have. In such a case, this ignorance becomes her weakness. So, on the occasion of the coming International Women's Day, I want everyone to work together to help the daughters to get their right to inherit.
