Tell Your Story #31 | A Day At The Shop.

Hello Steemians. Welcome to the tell your story contest where I will be sharing a story with you all.

My story

The sales at the shop isn’t like it used to be. From what people say, January is always like that so I keep holding unto it and that’s why I don’t want to sadden my heart with the poor sales.
These days, I’ve been watching money heist every moment at the shop since there is no sales and I gotta keep myself busy with something.

This night, one of my prominent customers came to buy some goods worth $20. This woman is someone who has bank issues almost all the time. I brought out my POS machine so she can use her card to withdraw the money. I tried the first and second time but they were failed transactions. I didn’t want to try the third time so I told her to go until the bank network is fine.

Then, she got to her shop and called me that her account has been debited twice. She kept shouting like I took her money but I didn’t get credited as well. I felt bad and went to her place so we can talk things out and wait till tomorrow. I called my bank and I learned that the fault is from her bank.
Just two minutes ago, she called to tell me that the money has been reversed.

Why didn’t she even wait some minutes before accusing me of deliberately withdrawing her money twice? That was unfair on my side.

What did I learn from the story?

I learned to be calm. Well, I was the calm one in the story but there are times when I may want to jump into conclusions but what happened this night made me realize that things sometimes do not happen the way we think they did so it’s better to hear from other people before we jump into conclusion.

Also, life doesn’t revolve around you or me so it is always good to see from the views of other people and respect their opinions.
That’s my story for today and I hope you all learned something from it.

This is my contest entry and I would love to invite @chilaw @vishwara and @joan-na.
