Greetings dear friends. It is another lovely week of Do it yourself. I values and cherishes this contest because it evoke our spirit of creativity. My special thanks goes to @ngoenyi for organising this contest on weekly basis. I have missed this contest for some weeks now, so participating in this week's give me a great joy.

I want to share with you how I prepare porridge honey Bean and Ripe plantain. Here in my country, we are blessed with different species of beans and the few I have consumed are: Oloka beans (Nigeria local beans), Black-Eyed Peas, Pinto Beans, Black Beans, kidney beans, soybean, Brown beans, Lima beans and honey beans. I enjoys all this type of beans and any that is available is my preference. I like them all because they are really delicious (depending on how you choose to prepare), proteinous and yummy.

Combination of beans and plantain is nutritious for me as a nursing mothers, children as well as adults. Please follow up with my preparation process.

During pre-preparation, I sliced onion, pounded Crayfish and pepper, parboiled beans, peal and cut plantain into smaller sizes and set aside.

This meal was really delicious and tasty, This is my husband favourite meal such that he doesn't play around when it comes to it. We did eat with any other thing as we enjoyed together as family because it was integrated already with ripe plantain. It was really a top notch.

This is my skills for the week. Different people has different ways of preparing beans depending on their choice and culture and they really enjoys it. Some people prefer eating it with Pap, Garri, Rice, Yam, ripe plantain or potatoes. How do you Cook your beans and what do you accompanied it with?

Hello @dequeen. I enjoyed reading your post so I voted for it.

I also have a couple of suggestions.

A) I think the title should describe more clearly the topic you're writing about; in this case :

Let's do it...Do It Yourself : Honey Bean and Ripe Plantain Porridge

I think this would alert potential readers that the content's to do with making food rather than a paper craft.

B) Two photos of the finished dish are repeated. You can edit the post and delete one of them.
