"First Day of my School 🏫".

Hello dear steem ladies it is @fortwis09 who is back here to join the ladies although I am a girl.

This contest just seems appealing to me to write about because I am still a student and though I cannot recall my first day in baby school I can recall in basic and secondary school.

So I will like to use the tips to make my post a bit more interesting

Can you recall your first day of school? What was the most memorable moment?

Like I said earlier I can't vividly recall my first day in babies class but my mom had told me a little about it and it is really funny.

She said I cried and cried to the point that she even thought that I couldn't have coped there in school.
I didn't want her to leave my side ever, she even asked the teacher if I can be able to survive in school and she told her that I am just like every other child and will soon blend in.

Later after my mom left, she called the teacher to find out how I was doing, she said I had already started playing with the kids in the school, but anytime I see my mom I would cry again and again.

My first day In basic school was also interesting, I had just been promoted to basic two due to my results.

I thought I will be smaller than everyone there but I wasn't, I was just the same age. Since I was a bit mature I didn't cry as much because most of them were my friends from nursery school.

The turning point came in my secondary school, in juniors secondary one and we moved from my hometown to another place, being in another environment was new to me but I tried to make friends though, the remarkable thing about all this is that no matter what, i always blended in.

How did you feel on your very first day of school? Excited, nervous, or a mix of emotions?

During my baby school as I mentioned earlier I actually cried a lot and a lot so I wasn't excited at all because I felt so unhappy that I was going to be separated from my mother who had taken care of me since I was a year and six months. So I felt uncomfortable in this new surrounding, but I eventually got used to it.

During my basic school I felt very nervous and excited at the same time, I felt like I might be bullied or not make any friends in the school, since my classmates would do basic 1 and I was in basic 2 but my instincts were wrong actually, I made great friends who were happy that I was promoted to that level I really loved it.

In my Junior secondary I was nervous and happy to at the same time but I also made amazing friends there, soon I became used to the system as I had more and more fun until I wished to go to school every single day.

🏫 Did you make any new friends on your first day? If so, how did you initiate the friendship?

I don't really know how I initiated friendship in my baby class because I cannot remember and my mom wasn't there to tell me but I feel like I just rhymed in because they were my fellow lovely classmates 😆.

In my basic class I remember I just entered and sat down in the front of the class I was feeling nervous so I didn't talk to anyone at all and decided not to till the end of the day. But there was a girl that sat bedside me, she was also new to the school and had problem adjusting too, so she asked my name and I told her and then I asked hers as well and that's how I initiated the friendship, it moved smoothly and she became my good friend though she left that same term.

In mt junior secondary school, I initiated friendship by asking them their names and how long they had been in the school, I had four friends whom were my friends till I finished junior high school, we talked about our primary school life and what we actually expected from the teachers in my secondary school life we wanted to make friends with all teachers and obviously we did.

🏫 How did your parents or guardians help prepare you for your first day of school?

Well for my baby class they got my uniform ready and bought some books for my bags handwriting books etc. So that I could learn properly.

In my basic school we used pencils to write so that we could work more on our handwriting since my wasn't yet improved so they got me pencils and handwriting books as well as well as erasers, sharpeners , rulers and a new school rolling bag.

In my Junior secondary school, they got me more things, like we we're to buy chairs so we bought the chairs for me to sit, I made sure to identify the chair with a mark so as not to lose the chair, I changed my school bag to accommodate bigger books as well, the got me maths set which contains rulers, pens, pencils, eraser compasses, dividers etc which were useful, I also got new notebooks as well and they had me measured to be able to get me a new uniform from the school since it was a shirt and pinafore.

🏫 If you could go back and change one thing about your first day of school, what would it be and why?

For my babies class in would want to go back and not cry anymore, because I wouldn't want to make my mom to have worried about me so much that she called to see how I was doing, also it might have caused me lots of headaches which I didn't want, moreso ever I am happy that I later got blended in.

For my basic class I would like to go back to change the way I felt, It hindered me from being free with other people who extended their hands of friendship, and made me to feel a bit lonely when my first friend left that term, but I am happy I still made friends later on.

For my Junior secondary school, on my very first day I was punished with every other person, you see such is life, children just don't listed sometimes, my class was making noise and there by disturbing the whole school, I was actually feeling like that will attract some punishment but I couldn't set my mind straight on what to do at the moment, I decided to go out for a while until the noise cooled off or a teacher came in, but I made the decision late because a teacher came in and punished everyone there. So if I can change one thing I would have left the class 😆😆😆.

in conclusion,

School can be really fun and once you just blend in with everyone else you figure that you will never want to miss a day of school.
