The Diary Game | Last Valentine's Day??? 🌹 & A big change to the life.. 👶

Greetings my lovely friends!

Today, after almost 08moths I'm bursting with excitement as I sit down to share the latest chapter of my life's journey.
Guess what? The universe just decided to add a bit of magic and solve that missing piece in our lives. With this special news my husband and I couldn't be more happier!

^{Into motherhood}

After nearly a decade of waiting with a rollercoaster of emotions, we are finally expecting our little one to extend my family from 02 to 03.

Yes, you heard it right! I'm stepping into the beautiful world of motherhood.

Let me rewind a bit. About five years into our marriage, we thought of having a little one, but it wasn't as straightforward as we hoped.

So, we went for various treatments and failed as every doctor suggest a surgery as the final treatment. But there was one doctor who gave us a time and with his professional approach he discovered that I have Vitamin D deficiency.

Our journey to parenthood has so many learnings so I hope to share my experience with all the ladies in this community with upcoming diaries.

Now, let's talk about the most recent event that added an extra layer of sweetness to our journey, our last Valentine's Day as a couple!

My husband isn't the biggest fan of this day and believes it is a marketing gig overall. But can you believe I got my first ever Valentine's gift after 16 years of our love! I couldn't help but laugh at his change of heart. The person who never celebrate valentine changed to this news just like that! Probably our little one turned him into a romantic at heart. I'm loving every moment of it.

However, that's not the only gift I received during this period. All the love and support I’ve received from my family, friends and even all the acquaintances have been absolutely overwhelming. In Sri Lanka, there's a beautiful tradition of gifting food to expecting mothers. Everyone willing to prepare anything I want and give it to me next day. I feel super grateful for this outpouring of genuine affection.

The kindness and warmth surrounding me as a soon-to-be mom is a new experience for me and all these especial treatment feels this journey even more special.

As I close this daily chapter, I just want to thank everyone who been a part of my life. Your support and love mean everything to me.
