The history of the evil eye can not be traced but it is a belief and thought that a malicious gaze can bring misfortune, bad luck, sudden mood swings, mental harm, and even physical harm.

The intention and sense of jealousy mostly cause you damage. It might be by someone you know or from someone randomly but in either way the extent of the damage remains the same. In our language, we call it "Nazar"(نظر) and based on our conventional beliefs one gotta stay away from the following types of evil eye:

Green Eyes: A person with the green eye color will break everything of a sudden.

Jealousy: Someone who cannot compete with you will have a sense of jealousy and this causes you harm

Parents love: This point might be confusing to certain readers but it is what the people of my area think. The highest value love and affection of the parents towards their children badly make them sick and ill.

Taking measures is necessary to stay safe from the evil eye. The following tips are defensive:

Divine protection: Ask your child to recite some verses of the Quran when stepping out of home. Surah that are best to protect are:

-The 4 "Qhul" Surah in the last Chapter of the Quran
-The Ayatul Kursi

Avoid jealous people: Never share or showcase your or your child's success while jealous people are in your surroundings.

Keep your futuristic plans private: Everyone is busy structuring their plans and wants to be successful in the future which is a good habit but one should not share the plan with jealous people because even the evil eye will destroy all your plans and it won't let you reach your goals.

wearing armbands, bracelets or strips:
armbands (Taveez in Urdu language) that have some verses and strips that read Mashallah(With the Will of Allah) might be helpful to protect your child from evil eyes.

Due to the innocence and purity of the newborns, they are vulnerable to the evil eye so it is true that the parents are genuinely concerned about the evil eye affecting their children.

The evil eye brings:
° Illnes
° Physical harm
° Misfortune

Evil eyes have the worst consequences that will directly hit your life, health, and your goals. The following factors might be seen if the evil eye has fallen on you:

Nightmares: You might have dreadful nightmares and sudden wake-up calls while sleeping.

Health issues: Sudden fever, headache, illness, and other health issues might be experienced by the victim.

Bad luck and misfortune: A series of misfortunes and failures in whatever step you take in life.

Mental distress: Anxiety attacks all the time, deep depression, sudden mood swings, conflict, and arguments on issues that are even not of much importance.

Economic losses: your business might have losses, fire by your boss, lack of progress in your career, debt, and all economic and financial problems.

Physical harms: A sudden incident or accident, injuries, and body pain are normal, evil eye can even cause someone's death.
