I'm sharing a recipe post recipe is to curry Gourd leaves with shrimp curry..


Winter is coming to our country now, so fresh gourd and Gourd leaf vegetables are abundant this winter.And so I'm making a curry today that I had to use a very small amount of spices to make.

Moreover, cooking like this makes this curry so tasty that one can try it once.


Here are the ingredients I need to make gourd leaf curry


Fresh gourd leaveswith two to three tip leaves
Shrimp200 gm
Potato1 big
Onion paste1/2 cup
Chili paste1/4 cup
turmeric powder1/2 tsp
Salt1 tsp
Oil2 tbsp

First, cut the leaves and tips and wash them.And also throw away the shrimp head peels and wash them.

At this stage I will blend the onions and green chillies separately and pour them into a bowl.

First, add oil to a pan and grind a little onion and brown the shrimp. Then grind the spices well with turmeric powder, onion paste and green chili paste.

Now at this stage I will grind the potatoes again with a little water so that the potatoes are cooked well.

When the potatoes are well cooked and the water from the spices is dried and the oil is released, I will give the amount of water.

When I see that the water has boiled well, I will pour all the cut gourd leaves and boil them well for 10 to 15 minutes.

At this stage I'll salt.When I see that the leaves and tips are cooked and the color is green, I will turn off the gas stove with green chillies and coriander leaves and pour it into the serving bowl and serve it.

In Curry, I'll keep a little more water and it can be eaten in soup.

Gourd leaves with shrimp curry


Just as this gourd curry will be tasty to eat with white rice, it will be better to eat only one bowl of gourd leaf curry/soup without rice .

The reason is that when the potato is well cooked, this curry broth will be a little gravy.Adding potatoes in any curry increases the taste a little more.
