Empowerment of Education Through Women.

How do you see the empowerment of women through education?

Women are the major builders of any society. This is because they nurture the children who later grow to become adults in the society.

Let's look at it this way, we were all once baby's nurtured one way or the other by a woman. Although, we are all currently adults, fending for our today's bread as well as contributing to the immerse growth of individuals and our society.

As women, from conceiving a baby till they reach adulthood, we spend more time with a child, teaching, nurturing, grooming and loving.

This only explains that the education of every girl child (or women) should be a top priority of every Family, Country, and Nation.
A woman's level of knowledge and exposure becomes the foundation of which she grooms that child.

In this case, do women face any obstacles?

A girl child obstacle in enhancing her education come in various ways as highlighted below;

• Cultural barrier. This can be a limiting factor in some ethnic groups as they believe that women aren't meant to attain a significant level of education. Some of those are seen in the rural northern areas.*

• Religion Limitations.* Some religion belief that a woman should be in the house caring for the family as such, it's a waste of resources sending her to a higher formal education.

• No Financial support . This could be as a result of lack of resources from family and no good source of income to sponsor oneself.*
  This is but a few obstacles women encounter.

What is the effect of education on women?

• The effect of education on a girl child (women) is a win win to the individual and the society.
  As explained in the second paragraph, it will give them a good level of balanced knowledge to raise informed children.

• Women are proactive thinkers. It will balance their knowledge to make better choices for themselves and their home.

• Education balances the intentional and caring nature of a woman with exposure. So they begin to pick point societal problem and become problem solvers.

• Education for a girl child (women) also boost the statistics of educated persons within that region because an educated woman will go all out to see her children attain better level than she did.

• And lastly, educated women raises the bar for other women to climb. Just to name a few.

What do you think can be the initiatives and programs to empower education through women?

So personally I believe in Coach a thousand, mentor a few.

• The first way I think would be a means to empower women through education is to set up an initiative which will have a few women mentored intentionally per season.

• Secondly, enlighten the parents (family), religious leaders, Cultural groups of the importance to educate the girl child. Hence she is in their custody and will need their total support.

• Thirdly, get financial support from interested individuals and organization to assist interested women who are willing to go to school but can't afford it.

In conclusion, the future of our nation is dependent on the woman to nurture and groom pls Let our women go to school.
