Empowerment of Education Through Women

Hi guys.. How are you doing? Trust you've been good.. Its my desire to partake in this week's contest. Today, I will be sharing with you on the impacts of education on women. Here is my entry below;

How do you see the empowerment of women through education?

Empowerment of women has become a burning issue all over the world. For centuries, women were not treated equal to men in many ways. But recently, we now see that women have occupied respectable positions in all walks of life. Still yet, women are not absolutely free due to discriminations and harassment of the society. In the present society, a few number of women have been able to establish their potentialities. Women have come out of those dark days of oppression by ensuring to have all the rights which men have by empowering women through education.

Education plays a vital role in everyone's life. It is a human right and an essential tool for achieving equality. Really, education helps to meet all these rights to women in the society. It also ensures that women grow up with knowledge of things in the world, able to think critically, and practice skills which leads to self- confidence and respect. So in all, "Education" is a mile stone for women empowerment because it enables them to respond to opportunities, challenge traditional roles, and change their lives for good.

In this case, do women face any obstacles?

In empowering women through education, women faces a lot of obstacles, barriers, and discrimination. Some of these obstacles includes; Lack of economic opportunities, unequal pay, lack of access to financial services, child marriage, unintended pregnancy, gender based violence against women, poverty, etc.

What is the effect of education on women?

Educating girls has a lesser effect. One effect of education on women is that women who receives education are more likely to marry later, or have fewer children. But to me, I belief that education on women doesn't have much effects on them. You know why? This is because when a woman is educated, she becomes empowered to change not only her own life, but the lives of her family, society, and people around her.

What do you think can be the initiatives and programs to empower education through women?

Education has countless benefits on women. Empowering women and girls about education helps to create a sense of agency and encourages them to pursue their educational opportunities. It also challenges them to their societal norms and values to advocate them for their rights and participate in the public sphere.

It is also crucial to educate women about their rights to education and importance of education. This can be done through awareness campaigns, community- based education initiatives, and mentoring programs. Additionally, education provides women with opportunities to secure better jobs, earn high income, and support their families financially.

In Summary, A number of great women have made themselves wonderfully powerful and successful in their lives through their individual efforts. So, I support this motion by empowering our women through education.. Thank you all.. I warmly invite @perpetaul @bela90 @jasminemary to join this contest.
