Hoy 08 de Marzo se celebra el día internacional de la mujer, antes se le llamaba el día internacional de la mujer trabajadora, todo surge en honor a esas 129 obreras textiles de la fábrica Cotton de Nueva York, Estados Unidos, que fallecieron en 1857 a consecuencia de un incendio mientras hacían huelga para que se les mejorara sus condiciones laborales, esto trae a consciencia sobre la importancia de empoderar a las mujeres en todos los entornos, protegiendo sus derechos y sus garantizar que éstas puedan alcanzar con todo su potencial.

Today March 8th is celebrated the International Women's Day, previously it was called the International Working Women's Day, all arises in honor of those 129 textile workers of the Cotton factory in New York, United States, who died in 1857 as a result of a fire while on strike to improve their working conditions, this brings awareness about the importance of empowering women in all environments, protecting their rights and ensuring that they can achieve their full potential.
