what happened

On the evening of Tuesday, 11th June 2022, during prep, there was a fight in SS2A involving two students.

Their names are precious and faith

The two of them are good friends. They are intelligent and of good behavior. It was there to surprise them all that they should fight like enemies on the war front. Faith had accused Precious of misplacing her biology textbook. precioushad denied having any knowledge of it. Everyone was busy preparing for the fourth coming examination.

We've never thought anything serious about their argument until they start abusing and cursing each other in a very unusual manner.

This was when I, the assistant glass captain, left my position and tried to meditate.

The class captain had been sick and was at the school clinic by then. I tried to placate them, but all my pleas fell on deaf ears.

As I was still standing between the two of them to stop them from fighting, faith pushed me aside and, like a wounded lion, pounced on me and started beating and tearing my clothes.

I finally free myself from her, and she proceeded the beating on precious

At last others made join me to make peace, but precious remained adamant. Nobody knew what came over her.

I ran out to call any teacher on duty, but unfortunately there was no one within reach.

classes had joined in the fight. Some supported faith, while some supported precious

The atmosphere was chaotic. Chairs and doors were being broken, school bags were used as weapons, and books were shattered everywhere.

Fortunately, at this moment, Mrs. Odili, who lives close to our school block, heard the noise and rushed to our classroom. Thedamage had been done.

She rescued the two victims, who were now writhing in pain on the ground. They were in a sorry sight.

Precious's head was bleeding profusely. Faith could not see with one eye, and there was blood all over their bodies. I myself retain some injuries

With the help of other Perfects and ,the class captain, Mrs. Odili restored peace in the classroom, and she drove the other students back to their classes. Faith and Precious were taken to the school clinic, as were the other students who got hurt, including myself

The classroom was in terribly bad shape. chairs and louvers were broken.

Our new marker boar was not left out.

It was unfortunately that this could happen in our class, a class that won a prize recently as the best in SS2 class.

What you have learned from it

I learnt never to involve myself in anything i can't handle , I will rather go and invite or inform someone that can handle it
