Food Thought #18| Time and Chance!

Hello friends,

I welcome you again to our food thought for the week. I just hope you are following suit. This week's topic is titled "Time and Chance.".

There's a popular saying that time waits for no man and chance comes to us when we least expect it. If time and chance would take you to your dream land, I think you have to be in preparation as you wait.

It is better to be ready than to be late. To be late is very dangerous in life, but to be ready means you are prepared to move at any point. How can someone say that they want to buy a car without first learning how to drive?

Another says they want to have a baby without making provisions for baby items; I don't think it works that way. In life, we must be prepared to receive whatever comes our way at the right time. Remember, time waits for no man; rather, you wait for time.

What is the difference between "Here" and "There"? It's "T," which means time. What it will take you to get there from here is time. Time will always come and go, but what were you able to make out of the time? How do you utilize the time you have?

There was a man who lived a very bad life while he was still young, healthy, and wealthy. He was married with beautiful children, but he never valued them at all. He lived the life that pleased him until he fell ill.

He was brought home to be taken care of by his wife and children, but they told him to go back to whoever has been helping him to continue. He started pleading and asking for a chance to be a good father and husband. Finally, he got the chance and made up with his family.

Now, what if he never had the chance to ask for forgiveness? What if the time for a chance never came? What if, when this time and chance were before him, he blew them away and never asked for forgiveness because he was not ready?

Life will always play itself to us, but that doesn't mean we should run faster than our shadow. Everything in life has the time and season—the time to be born and to die, the time of joy and the time of sorrow, the time to plant and harvest.

This means that everyone has their time in life. When things are not going well for you, it means it's not your time yet. Of course you will be given a chance and time in life, but you just have to be prepared.

I encourage you to stay put. You time and chance would come, but do not forget to be ready!
