Some people see parenting as a normal work that can be handled by man or woman, while some may think it's only ment for the women (mothers) , reading further in this storyline you will understand who is responsible for parenting.

Mr Uwem and his wife Uyai, these two couples were admired by many because of their romantic relationship. One thing was their problem. Guess what? Childlessness , Occasionally they will visit the hospital to assertain what could be the problem of their situation. But the solution was not forth coming. It was like all hope was lost, but Mrs Uwem was not taking the situation lightly because the pressure was on her, She was advised by her friend to go spiritual, but her faith was against the suggestion.

Months later, Mrs Uwem decided to adhere to her friend's suggestion of visiting a spiritual place, because of her initial refusal she decided to go alone in search of a spiritual place that can help her out of the childlessness. At first she was scammed of her hard earned money.

She went back to her shell, and decided to allow the will of God to happen . Her friend came again and she narrated her way so far and her lovely friend consoled her as well blamed her for going alone.

This time Mrs Uwem was hopeless and helpless but her friend convinced her to try again as they go together.

As early as possible they both went to visit a spiritual place where they were given some magic to perform. Mrs Uwem own was different because she was the one in need of a child.

She carefully performed as instructed by the spiritual man, months later she became pregnant and delivered a bouncing baby boy.

It was all jubilation and merry for the family, friends and well wishes.
As the boy was growing. He tends to behave differently from his peers, people began to complain but the parents gave deaf ears because he was a miracle boy. Do you know that this boy joined bad gang and started stealing .
As if that was not enough he graduated into kidnapping and high way robbery. Unlucky for him his gang was apprehended while he escaped. At this point the parents regretted their negligence in bringing him up properly.

On that fateful day he was finally arrested and handcuffed to the station. Before everything he was paraded naked because he gave security agencies tuff time after he was declared wanted by the State.

He was sentenced to death by hanging, on the final day he requested for one thing , every body was curious to know what it would be. He asked for the mother to come close while he whisper something into her ears as the mother came close this boy knowing his was going to die chopped off her mother's ear with his teeth.

Moral lesson.

• Parenting is for everyone especially the parents.

• parents should train up their children without
