This is my style

If there is one thing I like in life it is taking photos. Do I call myself a professional photographer? Not at all! I only enjoy taking photos with my camera and my mobile phone. As long as I can go “click, click” I am happy.

For me taking photos consist out of three things.

1. The beauty
2. The way
3. The share

The beauty
The beauty of photography lies in the ability to capture the world around us in a way that we simply cannot say with words. Photography's charm stems from its power to showcase our people and our world.

The way
The art of photography lies in the story it tells, the way that we keep memories alive, and through a window which we can better understand and appreciate the wonderful world we live in.

The share
Photos tell stories, and offer a peek view into our complex beautiful planet. Snapping photos goes beyond f-stops and shutter speeds. It's how we share our views and special moments with others.

I'm excited to tell you all about my favorite style of photos – landscape photography.

My approach focuses on nature's raw beauty and grandeur. I love vast landscapes, towering peaks quiet lakes, and rocky shores that showcase Earth's variety. Not to mention those special moments of the day like, sunrises and sunsets. Often I capture stunning shots that only my eye could see and more than once from a quick stop along the roadside. My husband knows all too well what is coming up if I shout, "STOP!"

Throughout the years my camera lens found the most amazing places and momenst most people don't get to see just because I am so often at the right place at the right time. To share these photos later with others are epic.

Through landscape photography I have learned that first impressions pack a punch. A knockout shot grabs your eyes right from the start. What makes it so interesting? Bold colors, eye-catching textures clean lines, and seductive curves do the trick. These elements have a knack for hooking viewers from the get-go.

Landscape photography for me is also not just about looking at the photos but also goes about tapping into the emotional side of the viewer. If can make those looking at my photos part of the scene by smelling the breeze from the ocean, hear the roaring of the waves against the shore, or feel the sand under their feet I am happy.

It is my pleasure today to share ten of my landscape photos with you and hopefully you will be able to "feel the story" behind each one of them

Unquestionably, my passion for the natural world is reflected in the way I photograph landscapes. The breathtaking, ever-changing landscapes of Mother Earth never cease to captivate me.
Even if it's just for my family and friends, I want to use my photos to spread a better appreciation for the natural world, awe, and reverence for the beauty that's all around us.
